I've been in touch with with the manufacturer and they said it may be that old as it was prototype. unfortunately they haven't get much information about the guitar atm but they definitely confirmed that it is genuine prototype as they have record of the serial number. I got this bass from my uncle who still lives in Japan and keen bassist.

Its currently being resprayed and only have primer on. and answering luke's question, i meant it by figuratively speaking. I meant how much would it worth now.

I have Levinson blade guitar which is about 30years old and is apparently a prototype that never made into production (was made in Japan) and may well be the only one in the world according to the manufacturer. I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost if I were to buy it now. Thanks
