  1. I bought this a few months ago and it is absolutely fantastic,  I've never played a 5 string with such a defined B string - and that growl! However I don't have much need for a 5 string so can't see it being played as much as I'd like.

The bass is in superb condition. There is some very light rash/swirling to the rear of the body but hardly noticeable - in the picture the sunlight is shining directly on it and makes it look a lot worse than it is 😄

The neck is spotless as far as I can see.

The only issues of note are some slight tarnishing to the bridge, tuners and knobs, but they function perfectly well.

The bass has recently been set up with a low action and new Sadowsky strings.

Collection from Dartford or local meet up preferred.

But at that price I am most definitely OUT. Its a crazy price for what they are intending to be a standard offering in the model list.

    Totally agree.

You can, but it will effect the quality of the sound of the repeats (which might or might not be desired).

Personally I was fully aware of the short maximum delay time when I bought the pedal, and planed to use it as such (that is more as an ambient effect than a rhythmic delay effect).

    Fair enough 😁

For me, a delay has to at least be able to Brighton Rock to be useful.

I don't have any pictures of my exact actual units, but these two makes up my most recent pedal purchase (ordered and delivered at the same time) :

Behringer VD400 Vintage Delay (Boss DM-3 Analog Delay clone) :

    Both amazing pedals.

And the Behringer is just astonishing value for the money, a genuine all analog delay that sounds absolutely gorgeous (mind though that it only got 300ms as max delay time).

Apparently you can pop the Behringer open and adjust the delay time. I wish I'd known that before I gave mine away 😄

My B3K overdrive works fine with the effect engaged but when I turn it off, there's no signal getting through the pedal and out to the amp. It was fine until today.

Is this something that could be repaired? Who repairs pedals?

Contact Darkglass directly, I've never had to myself but they seem very active and helpful on social media if anybody has any problems with their pedals

Be polite to everyone nail the material, keep your mouth shut, pack up and go home.

That's a handy approach if you want to come across as completely asocial.

This is what the internet was invented for. There were a few years when it disappeared mysteriously from Youtube, dark days indeed.

  8. I'm a little ashamed to admit to being a bit disappointed when I saw Bungle at the Astoria, they played mostly California material which I was unfamiliar with.

I've since gone on to consider it their - and Patton's for that matter - finest hour. I'd love to go back an relive that gig!
