I can only apologise for interrupting the direction of the current thread with possibilities of further discussion!

You've ruined this thread for me with your free-thinking. -

Andertons have the 'Bird on their system, although not yet available.
They have an initial price of £629, but say that may change (either way possibly) by the time they get them.
I thought they might come in around £450.
£629 for an (admittedly gorgeous) Epi is a bit too much for my liking.

Got a link? I can't see it on their website. -
That takes me back... It's exactly the same as my old school's bass. A much-admired instrument, considering I was learning on an old Eros EB copy at home 😊

It's a Bass VI, not a Jaguar. I had one for a while, great fun but didn't use it much. My fave setting was neck and bridge pickups together, perfect for that Helter Skelter tone!
New strings are a must, though. The LaBella flats are ideal. -
Any news on these 'birds?

My '89 .

Wow.

Of course if we're being pedantic it's actually COWS. 😁
Kansas - awesome band. Dave Hope's one of my favourite players ever, fantastic tone. -
The Workhorse Movement. Released one album on Roadrunner then split. Had a lot of support in the music press too.
Terrific rock/soul/funk/rap/stoner metal. 😊 -
Bump...

Expect some chump will be along shortly to mention Budgie's classic ballads:
'Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman', and 'Hot as a Docker's Armpit'

Awesome colour scheme.

Good heavens that's gorgeous.

Nice post.
Believe it or not she sang on a Steve Hackett track - check out Hoping Love Will Last from his Please Don't Touch album.

I think that was before she 'made it'. An incredibly beautiful song and performance. -
4003s. Inbound, yet unbound.

WTF's Trevor Rabin doing there!

Why wouldn't he be there? -
Bump.

Not like Kiss to over-exaggerate...
That said, I'll be there at the O2. They're still one of the most entertaining bands I've ever seen, and their set last time certainly didn't feel short. Paul Stanley's totally unscripted between song banter takes up at least 30 minutes I reckon. -
For sale too of course 😊
Any famous guitarists good at playing bass?

Stephen Stills. Check out his playing on the first CS&N album.
