1. I would. The last one I sent to Greece cost £61 As long as you are aware of the cost I'm happy to ship.
2. Hmm I can't comment really because I'm not nearly good enough to make a pronouncement on bridges. Suffice to say that I have a Gotoh 201 (?) that I fitted to one of my Jazz bass's and the only thing I noticed was that the action was high and I couldn't lower it enough so I'm back on a BBOT which works fine. All IMHO. Tom.
3. No, more of a P bass neck really, beautiful to hold and play. But alas I have small hands or I'd keep it.
4. Sorry about that  It's a fantastic bass, if you like Precision's, this is a treat!
5. I have a lot of bass's and have just bought 2 more that I really want. My better half is getting a bit annoyed at the fact that she plays mostly 12 string and says she only needs one. So these 2 I have for sale are a kind of olive branch.
6. As title, it is in new condition and this bass has one of the best EQ's I've ever heard. The bass control is truly window shattering. FEATURES Construction: Bolt-on neck. Scale Length: 864mm (34"). Fingerboard: Rosewood. Frets: 21 Large. Radius: 250mm (10"). Body: Alder. Neck: Maple. Tuners: Open type. Bridge: Vintage Style. Pickups: 2 Split single coil, 1 Soapbar single coil. Pickup Switch: Pickup Balancer. Controls: Speed Knobs for Master Volume, Balancer, Trebl, Bass Mid Cut Frequency, Mid Cut On-Off Switch. GAK has one for £369, mine is £250 and is mint. Thanks for looking Tom.
7. NEED A SALE NOW. Hi all, this is a new Fret King Perception bass. It is one that was left over from when I retired so it's not been played at all. Blurb: Fundamentally powerful and expressive, the Fret-King Perception 4 bass has the depth, definition and dynamic ability to provide the all-essential rock solid foundation a band needs. Featuring a two-piece centre-jointed imported American alder body, Canadian hard rock maple neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard, the Perception 4 bass is built to provide profound performance. Featuring the classic ‘P/J’ pickup combination using Fret-King Alnico V vintage-voiced pickups, the Perception 4 bass rocks! Ice White – Normally £599.00 I'm looking for £360 + carriage, includes FK gigbag too. (There's one on evilbay for £429 ex-display so this is a bargain!)
8. Sold to me!! 3rd bass I've bought off Iain dunno what's going on. He buys a bass I really like, keeps it for 6 months and I end up with it. Happy man!
9. I was forced to withdraw mine from sale, Munk made me feel awful, he was right though.
10. Thanks for the input guys, this has turned into an interesting thread. I knew John Rackham who owned Wesley and have bought quite a few of his instruments over the years. His setup guy is Annie Lennox's bass player apparently, and he does a hell of a job. They do a Monarch natural bass for about £90 and there's nothing to touch it for the money, it's great! Heard of Johnny Brook but not had one..yet
11. Crikey that's nice I assume it comes out of the same factory as all the other fakers? Is that the name "Anniversary" ? Cheers for the heads up
12. I know what you're saying and there is a lot of good cheap stuff out there, I just wondered if anyone had experience of them and you answered my question, very emphatically
13. On sale here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tokai-RG4001-Rickenb...=item5d2791d1a1 Seriously considering one of these because my divorce will be very painful if I buy a real one. Appreciate any feedback from anyone who has/had one. /discuss Thanks, Tom.
14. That bad eh? I suppose it must be for that price. I once bought a couple of his strat copies and they were really bad too. Got a refund to be fair. Thanks for reminding me.
15. Anyone ever bought one of these for a project? No brainer for 49 quid isn't it? or £61 delivered http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/White-Bass-Guitar-ne...=item5d279746b0 His guitars are junk usually but a P copy?
16. Andy bought my Stingray. What a gentleman! Paid very quickly, great communication. Deal with confidence, a credit to the forums. Thanks again. Tom.
17. I can recommend Nigel Stockbridge in Richmond, North Yorks. http://www.nigelsguitarworkshop.co.uk/ I've had a lot of work done over the years though not on bass's. He can repair or set up anything, very clever man who deals with a lot of famous people. Also Steve Suggitt. Lives in West Ayton near Scarborough is another luthier I have used. He builds all kinds of guitars and does repairs and setups. Very talented man. http://www.chapelguitars.com/ And finally, Martin Dixon http://web.ukonline.co.uk/mdguitars/ Can do anything. I've seen bass's that he's made and they are simply stunning! He's in Otley near Leeds. Hope that helps. Tom.
