A couple from Edi Fitzroy, he made so many great tunes but you don’t hear them very often, the second one I was trying to remember, not sure if there’s another version
Heavy Bassline at 1.25
I thought the second one was maybe the original that this was based on but it turns out it isn't. It is used as the theme tune for a well known US TV show

ACS Customs are great. Even cheap ACS plugs are good but the customs are on a different level. You have to protect your ears, you don't get second chances with your hearing.
You can feel a bit disconnected at first while wearing them but after two rehearsals you'll be used to it.

There is a recent thread of two man with a van operations that will pick up and deliver for around £60. Both came with good recommendations from board members. Maybe that is an option.

I don't trust anything that will not give me the option to opt out. I don't trust anything that tracks me to "help" me get more targeted content. I value this forum but I will have to consider my ongoing use if there is no option at all to opt out of this.

I submitted an order on the website for some new strings at half five on Wednesday, I got an order confirmation at half ten Thursday morning and they turned up today (Friday) in the post. Spot on.

I sympathise with the Royal Mail workers, but suspect they are onto a loser with these strikes.
The money making part of the Royal Mail is the parcels service, which unfortunately for the workers is the one area where there is major commercial competition (which isn't on strike). Many commercial users of the royal mail pacels service will be jumping ship to these private companies after these strikes, leaving them with the loss making letters service, (with the universal coverage commitment) so job losses in the Royal Mail will be worse than ever.
Royal Mail made a profit of £758,000,000 last year so there is no need for the attacks on the workers' terms and conditions and no justification for the well below inflation pay offer. The company can afford it.
Royal Mail have to run the universal coverage by law. If they don't then who will?

On the flip side, I keep reading about them being overworked etc, we have a postman collect the mail from work everyday. His allotted collection time is 4pm, I've yet to see him arrive after 3.30pm! He sits in his van playing on his phone for at least half an hour before collecting the post. Hard to find sympathy for those like him who clearly are not overworked in any way. I do appreciate that he could be a small minority but still isn't great for the image they are trying to portray!
How do you know that they aren't on their scheduled break? You don't.

I go to gigs on my own and generally end up speaking to people there who have the same interest, love and passion for what is going on. If your local venues have regular gigs then you get to chat to them and sort of end up with gig friends. However I wouldn't trust any of them to hold my pint while I go for a slash.

There is an online archive of Mark Lamarr's BBC Radio 2 shows at https://www.godseternaljukebox.com/ and there are multiple series of his Beginner's Guide to Reggae all free to listen to. I picked a random episode and he said this was one of his favourite reggae tracks ever.

Here is the Barry Brown original and the King Tubby dub. The bass in this dub mix is probably my favourite and one of the most gloriously note filled it goes everywhere: no simple repetition on this one.
