Up for sale, this K&K Bass Max pick up. 

Great pickup for Double Bass - Easy on, easy off. Worked really well on a laminate DB that I am now moving on. The pickup is sold in very good used condition. A few minor marks and scuffs from when it was fitted to the bass, but still in fine working order.

The Bass Max is an upright bass transducer. It uses a "sandwich" design with two piezos layered together, one facing up and one down. This allows for a quick and simple wedge-mount into a bridge wing and ensures even transmission from the strings and from the body of the instrument.

The Bass Max is very sturdy and has a high output signal that is balanced over the whole tone range. It is suitable for both arco and pizzicato playing styles because it transmits a broader mid frequency range. This enables the musician to change playing modes without having to adjust the amplifier. The connection jack is held in place by a special attachment clamp mounted at the A and D strings between string-holder and bridge. The wrapped cable eliminates disturbance.

Up for sale, this nice, solid German style Double Bass Bow.

The bow was made in the mid nineties by bow maker J.E. Vickers (more well known as Ted). I understand it cost around £400 at the time. 

The bow does show some signs of use. There's a small chip in the wood on the tip end and some light rubbing etc. There is some brown tape at the end of the grip. This was re-haired a few years ago and hasn't had a great deal of use since. 

The bow measures approx 74cms  in length tip to tip.

Only selling as I seem to get on better with French bows.

Renowned for its transparency and clarity, this is a great amp for Double Bass. Both channels feature combo jack interfaces, low cut filter and phase inversion, and effects options (reverb, delay chorus and flange). Has DI output.

In very good, clean, working condition for its age. A little light scuffing, mainly to the back of the unit.

Comes with power cable and padded Acoustic Image gig bag. The bag is showing signs of wear and has a seam split which exposes the foam inner padding. It is still doing its job however.

Only selling as I rarely gig the Double Bass, so it is just not getting the use it should.
