HI guys, I hope you are all bearing up after the last year and half?! I'm an older git (61) who has been playing in club/pub bands (and a few fairly unknown originals bands) since dropping keyboards to play bass when I was 15 to allow Paul Dean (from X Ray Specs) play sax on a few live numbers. My last gig was in Feb 2020 and missing it a lot. I'm not sure whether our 3 piece covers band (home counties/N London) will carry on now. I'm guessing most of you have also been hit hard with the lack of gigging. Favorite genre Prog Metal/Djent (but fingers and brain too old to play it these days). Gentle Giant, Rush, Japan, Vola, Contortionist, Twelve Foot Ninja, Incubus, up there as my favorites. Currently on the Oxford canal contemplating my navel. Where's the sun gone? 😉

HI guys, newbie here. Gentle Giant are one of my all time favorite bands. I grew up in the 70s loving the prog rock genre and metal. Funny how my favorite genre now (at 61 years of age) is a fusion of the two, prog metal/Djent ! Are there any Gentle Giant tribute bands out there I wonder? Cheers Steve
