Hello Guys, Been trying to play bass and guitar on and off for nearly 60 years believe it or not but still useless. My fault because I just didn’t stick to it. I did play in a couple of bands with mates in the mid to late sixties but then so did nearly everybody else. I say play but just winged it (faked it really). Enjoyed it though. Now have a room full of gear, Marshall, Vox, Glockenklang etc. amps and cabs together with Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker, Höfner and other guitars and basses that I’ve collected over the years. Talk about all the gear - no idea. I doubt whether I’ll ever play anywhere other than at home now but I’m giving the bass one last go. Luckily I’ve now got a great, reliable and patient teacher who pointed me towards Basschat. Don’t know if I’ll be able to contribute much here but finding it very interesting and informative!
