FOR SALE - Tim Commorford Short Scale Passive Stingray (limited edition - only 50 produced) - £2,500 + shipping I bought this a year ago, as soon as they were released. I absolutely LOVE IT but I don't play bass much anymore and it feels like a waste to have such a spectacular bass sat there as an expensive ornament. I paid almost £3,000GBP ($3,000USD plus shipping & taxes). Looking for the buyer to pay £2,500 plus shipping. It's in perfect condition, only used a handful of times. I'm quite happy to keep it if no interest, I just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone is looking for one as they're difficult to get hold of. I'm in Teesside, UK if anyone local wants it. -
Looks amazing mate! Glad you're loving it. I ran mine through the Sansamp at practice the other day and it sounds so meaty. Breaking it in with a gig on Saturday, can't wait! 😀

Haha it does!! It feels and plays amazing, I'm absolutely in love with it. Sounds beautiful too, got that classic stingray sound. It's got a little less "growl" than an active stingray but obviously I was expecting that.

Yeh they're very expensive, I'll be selling my 5 string stingray to ease the dent in my bank balance. I've only recently discovered short scale basses tbh, and being a short-derrière I have decided they are perfect for me. So I've swapped my Warwich thumb for a Fender Mustang and now my Stingray 5 for a Stingray short scale

Yeh I went to the checkout with the active version and it said "2 ready to ship", but the passive version said "ships in 4 months", so I think I missed out on the first handful of passive short scales!

I've ordered the passive short scale, sunburst. Been trying to get hold of a "proper" short scale stingray for ages but they're like gold dust. So excited!! Should arrive within 4 months...
