Hello, and greetings from Lyon, France! My name is Florian and I'm a professional bass player and educator. I've been playing for 20 years and teaching for 10+ years. I gratuated from the Lyon Conservatory in Jazz Studies. Aside from teaching, I've been touring France and neighbouring countries for the past ten years with various bands, playing Soul/Funk, Blues, African Music, Pop and Jazz. I am offering lessons on Zoom or other similar devices. The lessons are one hour long, during that time we'll cover any topic that you desire, depending on your tastes, your current level and abilities. We can study technique, harmony, composition, improvisation, we can transcribe and analyse basslines, study solos of masters, etc. Although i'm mostly specialised in Soul, Funk, Blues, Jazz and Pop, we can study any style you like, including, Rock, Metal, Reggae, Salsa, etc. I use Zoom for the video and sound, and i also work with Sibelius to edit transcriptions or exercices in both bass clef and tabs. If need be, i can also record some content in reaper and send you the track. I'm a french native speaker but my english is really good, i'm used to teaching in english, having had over the years various students coming from England, Australia, Costa Rica or Germany.
