    Morning.

Hello BC folks. Darryll here. I'm here to reintroduce myself after many years away from this sort of thing. Hoping to reconnect with some old friends and maybe make a few new ones. I've been playing for over 25 years now and in that time have played with many bands, in many places with varying degrees of squalor and luxury along the way. Highlights include playing for 'Peter Hook & the Light', 'Kill2This' and my own long forgotten band 'profane'. There have been many more though for sure and many experiences as a support band to some notable bands. Over the years I worked at Academy of Sound, Johnny Roadhouse, PMT, Warwick UK and at various industry events in cavernous halls around the country. Some of it was fun, some of it was not. I love Heavy Metal, unashamedly. It is my reason for getting into music. Yes, I like and have played many other styles of music but I'm not gonna lie and make myself out to be into everything, I'm just not. My latest band 'Tutherun' is very much about the simple love of big noisy guitars/bass. Link below of course. I have 4 basses. I used to be a gear guy as I'm sure many of you are but life hasn't allowed such luxuries for some time. I have my Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5 string from 2000, my customised deluxe Fender Jazz from around the same period. A Fender Victor Bailey acoustic 4 string and a Yamaha BBN5 (strung as a piccolo bass) i got from my parents when I was 17. I've no immediate desire to get anything else but who knows eh? Rig wise I have nothing of note worth reporting and this will need addressing as soon as I'm able. In the past though I used predominantly SWR or Warwick backline. One sounded great, one was mainly just loud. I'll let you work out which was which. Anyway, I'll leave it there for now. Please say hello, It'd be good to hear from anyone who remembers me.
