  1. SADOWSKY METROLINE RV4 BASS - MADE IN JAPAN (2008) - WITH ORIGINAL CASE IN LAKE PLACID BLUE.

Great condition with original case. Zero fretwear. Got it in a trade, but more into vintage basses.

Not to be confused with the more recent (and inferior) Chinese built MetroExpress basses, this is a fantastic Tokyo built MetroLine RV4.

Open to offers and partial trades with cash my way.

  2. Open to partial trades and cash offers. This Instrument is an exclusively hand-crafted unique product. Low action and minimal relief. This guitar plays evenly up and down the board with no buzz. The frets and board have almost no wear at all. Electronics are stock and function as intended. There was a small finish chip that was repaired at one point or another between the neck pickup and fretboard extension, which is barely noticeable.

  3. Up for sale and trade is a bass which was allegedly owned by legendary bass player Arvell Shaw, long-time bassist of Louis Armstrong.

I got this bass from a private collector in the UK with very good reputation who purchased the bass back in 2008. The reason why I mention "allegedly" is because I was not able to find any evidence (e.g. pictures or references online of Arvell playing the bass). I guess if I managed to, this bass would be worth 3-5x its listing price, but I honestly have no interest in investing the money and effort at this time on trying to authenticate it.

Either way – this bass is justly priced as an all original 74 Ripper bass, in good condition with the added bonus of having an interesting story. Comes with the original hardshell case and some Arvell Shaw memorabilia.
