My dad played in a box bass like this in the 60s in a garage/high school band. I only have 1 picture of him with it and it's black and white. I didn't know until a couple years ago that it was a red bass guitar when my aunt told me. I've been looking for one of these off and on for a few years. This is the first one I've found with recent comments. I showed my dad this post and he said it looks just like his from the 60s down to the crooked neck and it bowed so much the strings were pulled away from the neck. Lol he said it must have been a design flaw. Please let me know if you still have it, because I would love to restore it and give it to my dad!!
