Go into your account and click my attachments ,you can delete them there.😊
Thanks Richard but I don't think that will work - I (stupidly) added the same image multiple times but if I delete the image I'm guessing it won't appear at al. I used to be able the re-edit the post after submission but that option no longer seems to be there, which raises another question - how will I mark it "sold" if I need to?

Help!! Won't let me edit out all the pics I posted in error.

Mouse 30 unlined fretless for sale UK only. Purchased in March 2022, now prefer 5 string.
Pictures from Rob's website of this particular bass 1570: https://www.roballenguitars.com/recently-sold-instruments/mouse-30-maple-short-scale-fretless-bass-1570-bp-uk?fbclid=IwAR0VICu6fmdbwpYS4buCO6hCB8SnmzmpOPyhQ5wEGWyue3LpHt3ssGJsW-k_aem_AZzTe6ZS_R7QsaeH50W7-8nn3efxq5WZotVm-0Jh8sD6cQXljY3PmtzA4YljdXB-6TRrnP7TVEqtgMFzjAlzY1eC
Comes with custom case not gig bag, pictures to show the custom case and full disclosure there is slight discolouration on the headstock where I put my tuning device (see photo), haven't tried to remove as I'm scared of ruining the finish. Current price on Bass Direct is £4350, Price £3500 or best offer over £3000 secures at the end of April. I could possibly deliver/meet within 150 miles of Surrey.

Finally retired from playing double bass and sticking to bass guitar now so selling my SLB200. In good condition, comes with a K & M stand & the Yamaha carrying case. In good condition, has some dings and slight scoring on the fingerboard (see photos) but does not affect playability which is excellent. Collection from EPSOM Surrey, would consider meeting half-way within an hour drive.

Selling my Phil Jones C8. Works well with my BG400 which I'm also selling. 800 Watts 8ohms, in good condition, the Tolex has been scuffed underneath (see pics) but is not noticeable in normal use.Has wheels and really useful pull-up handle. Collect from EPSOM Surrey or could arrange to meet half way within a reasonable distance. Can post to UK only for £25.

I use a BG400 4 x 5 combo which is fine for small/medium size gigs but in a big hall with a six piece band I also add my 8 x 5 cab as well, which gives a great sound and stacks of volume. These amps are really well designed and built to a very high standard - reassuringly heavy but the 8 x 5 has wheels and a pull-up handle so you can transport it easily with the combo on top, a really neat quality piece of kit, also has 2 channels so good for doubling.

Barefaced Cab sold to Cosmo Valdemar, paid for on using mobile banking for a transfer to my bank account - worked like a dream. Many thanks.

Any interest in trades?
Sorry, this is on hold for another Basschatter now, also I’m clearing out so not interested in any more gear. Thanks for your interest anyway.

It's actually the slippers I'm selling, the bass comes free but only if you buy the slippers.

Is that a piece of velcro on the back of the neck?
Yes, no idea why, it was on there from previous owner.

This is now back up for sale after a strange experience with another Basschatter. He PM'd me saying he was keen to buy it, we agreed a price and a time and place to meet up, took details to send a deposit. No deposit, no further communication despite messaging him a couple of times to find out what was happening. Maybe there was a problem raising the funds, would have been nice to receive a reply - hope he hasn't met with an accident or something! Will go on eBay this week, price negotiable.

For sale is my Rob Allen MB2 4 string, which I hardly ever play now I have my Deep 5; and having just acquired a Mouse from the illustrious Frank-blank I feel it's time to let someone else have the pleasure of this lovely bass. It's in excellent condition apart from some peculiar marks on the headstock which may be from the pads on my Tuner, haven't tried hard to get them off for fear of doing more harm than good. Comes with hard case, collect from Epsom Surrey or will deliver or meet half way within a reasonable distance.
Spec is:
- Flamed Maple top
- Alder body
- Neck - Eastern rock maple
- Cocobolo fingerboard and bridge
- Made in 2013
- 34"scale

Is this still for sale?

Marking them sold is manageable at the moment; most sellers do it and a mod can then just lock the thread. Moving the thread elsewhere creates an issue as only a mod could do that and it would get very complicated when someone withdraws something then wants it live again, it wouldn’t work with our payment recognition system for one thing. Thanks for the suggestion though, I see what you’re saying and think it would be nice to be able to do things like that but the software just doesn’t support it.
Thanks Ped, I was thinking you could just get it to sort the items not marked as Sold to the top of the list, but I guess you would need some sort of additional status field for that, which may not be possible with this software.

In direct response to your question then, I think it’s a bad idea. If sellers did what they are supposed to do with their listings, there wouldn’t be an issue. To bounce that problem over to the Mods/Admins seems a little unfair. I mean, I’d happily police the marketplace as I spend several hours a day surfing it anyway, but it doesn’t really solve the issue.
I may have this wrong, but I thought all the sellers had to do was mark their goods as Sold. If that's the case then even if they all did so we would still have exactly the same problem as old unsold items would still be way back in the listings - or is there more to it than that?

Currently the sold adverts are useful for our Google ranking. It’s difficult enough to get sellers to mark items as sold let alone grant them the permission to move the thread to sold, and it’s a big job to ask moderators to do. Even then, we’d end up with some incorrectly sorted. I’d suggest sorting your search results by date and working backwards. Cheers
Thanks for responding Ped. I can understand why it's a good idea to retain the Sold items, and I do sort by date, but that still leaves items that haven't been sold or bumped sometimes several pages back in the search, which necessitates ploughing through the same sold items every time. However from the response so far the answer to my question seems to be YES, I am the only one who finds it a problem.
