  4. I suppose finesse was the wring word, versatile would have been a better word.
  5. Ive got a Cort GB752JH 5 string (see pic) Its sounds ok tbh,but id like it to have a bit more finesse. But im not sure where to start ? Pickups,or Preamp,or both ? I'd have the pickups rewound by Catswhisker pickups (Highly recommend independent maker) rather trying to find something to fit in there. And then theres the preamp, Any suggestions on my current layout ? also i would like to add an active/passive switch to the system. Any thoughts, recommendations will be greatly welcomed.

Hello BaggyMan,Thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunately, its the 5 string version with the musicman pickup in the bridge im after.

And in Trans black. (Its not like im being particular, or anything 😂)

I missed one on here about a month or two ago.

It was a beaut, lovely flamed neck too.

      All the best,

  10. I know these two pedals are a "bit" outdated, but does anyone have any experience with either of them. I really fancy getting one to try out,but not sure which ? All the videos i watch on them seem very samey,in that they do the same thing. Am i missing something ? There are a few demos on YT that do not go anywhere. Just seems like they have no idea how they function. Just knob twiddling, with clearly no idea of what they are doing, really painful to watch. Or perhaps they aren't very versatile? Im looking for a pedal that does Overdrive,Fuzz, and octave fuzz in one pedal, that has a clean blend knob to. If you have any suggestions I'd really like to hear about them.

  14. The body too thin as it is. The removed the quilt top and is down about 4mm below that. The neck pocket is too shallow, the outline and all the round overs hacked. He must have done it when he was blotto.
