Managed to put some backing tracks in WAV format onto the SD card and they play perfectly well in song sketch however there is no option to to be able to play my bass over the top. what am I doing wrong?

Senior moment, just needed to use the line outs. Turning 50 can be such a pig 😝

I have a lovey pair of (not coconuts) Genelec 8010 monitors delivered today and my trusty Boss BR800 however I’m struggling to get any sound output. I have some XLR connectors which is all I can use on the Genelecs yet there is no sound coming out. They crackle initially when everything is turned on so I know they are working. What am I doing wrong? My old Rokits had different line in/out connectors and worked fine.

This is why I have always been a home guitarist. No desire to play in a band at all.

Thinking of getting a pair of these to plug into my Boss BR800. Are they any good for Bass guitar or too small? They’re not cheap but look good quality.

Welcome to the site. I’m similar to you. Turned 50 this year and have now purchased a Fender precision bass to try and scrape back what little I used to know. Someone mentioned Scott’s bass lessons on YouTube. He is very very good but nothing can replace a real teacher so good luck.
