I am having a terrible experience at the moment. I met this seller guy from Ebay and we agreed upon 2x headpieces one for me and one for my friend. The headpieces have been sold as Steinberger Spirit XT 25 compatible however they are for thicker and bigger I paid over paypal thankfully. Seller asked me to take some measurements and offered to manufacture a compatible one. And he also told me to sell the incompatible parts if I want to. So he accepted to waste those parts. However I didn't feel safe this way and I offered him to send my original Steinberger Spirit XT-25 headpiece and his wrong headpieces by paying the shipment fee out of my pocket. More than a month passed and the items lost during shipment:( Now the seller refuses to refund. I need to open up a paypal dispute, however I won't be able to get my original headpiece back. So it was a big loss for me. Now trying to figure out how to find a replacement headpiece. I am sharing my experience with you guys to not to do stupid things like I did.

I am in contact with the manufacturer. I was looking for a 5 string combined headpiece for my Steinberger XT25. I am trying to decide between Brass and Aluminium material. They say the sound wise they are different. What do you guys think?

Yes I have seen them but I had too much drop outs with Line 6 in the past so I want to stay away from them. And there is no tuner on it.

Guys, What do you think about SENNHEISER XSW-D and BOSS WL-60 ? I am between these two models. Sennheiser has the tuner function and XLR output and a very small transmitter which can be installed directly or on the belt with an extension cable. Boss lacks the tuner which is a huge drawback for me and no XLR Output. However Boss offers 2.39 ms latency vs Sennehise offers 3.9ms latency. Is the 1.51ms latency is not an issue. I am more prone to go with Sennheiser for the smaller form factor and the tuner extra. I really would like to hear your comments about these two items.

How long does the battery last? I am really sick of my 1996 Marleaux Consat Custom battery life. And It has a compartment like this one with tiny screws which will get lost very quickly. I am planning to replace the battery compartment with a modern housing though

Can you share the sound difference? I just bought an XT-25 and want to know if it is worth to upgrade to an active pickup setup
