Upright electric double bass (3/4 scale). These instruments are hand made in small batches in Cornwall, see the FarWest musical instruments website for full details and reviews, reviews also on YouTube. This is a quality upright bass (The Blond II model) made from Canadian rock maple and black walnut (FSC certified woods used). There are 5 pieces of wood in the body and 4 in the neck. The detail of the grains in the wood is very attractive. It has twin pick-ups with volume, tone and balance (between pick-ups) controls. The instrument was bought new by myself last August and has been played only a couple of times at home, so is like brand new. Genuine reason for sale, I've got too many basses and it's not getting used. No soft case with the bass but I have the original wooden packing case it was sent to me in, so I could re-use this for postage. I've got the original receipt and it cost £1180. Looking for £700 ono
