  1. I'd be well pleased with that. Abomination to God would be my first album title.
  2. Yup. As above. I've used Fiver before. Find a freelance who's general style you like and go from there.
  3. I'm stealing Funky Liquid as my new band name. 😂
  4. I'm generally not a fan of Fenders but even I like that.
  5. Nope. As part of my day job back in the UK I travelled all over the UK living in hotels for about 6 years. Not something I ever want to repeat. I can't imagine anything worse now than being dragged around on a bus from city to city and never being at home. Truth be told I can't even be arsed with gigging at all. Unless it's something local with an early start and early finish like a support slot or a nice afternoon party. I'm happy at home with my feet up. I also can't imagine anything worse than being famous. I'll take the money. But you can keep the fame.
  6. I think it's more important that we make it a rule that the price is listed up front in the title. That way I don't have to keep lusting after basses I can't afford. 😆
  7. Mitch easier just to use an actual fridge. You can buy the stickers.
  8. The description is almost as funny as the finish. Talk about verbal diarrhea. This custom electric bass guitar boasts a burnt wood natural finish and a precision style. The solid sycamore body and long scale of 34 inches make it perfect for right-handed players seeking a high-quality instrument. With a 4-string configuration, rosewood fretboard, and 20 frets, this bass guitar delivers exceptional sound quality for both beginners and professionals. The neck is made of maple, adding durability and a polished look to the overall design.Crafted in the United Kingdom, this bass guitar is a must-have for any musician looking to take their talent to the next level. Whether you're performing live or recording in a studio, this instrument is sure to impress. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind custom bass guitar.
  9. Missing both wheels. You'd need a strong back to move that bugger.
  10. No longer available so it looks like somebody's had a punt on it.
  11. Black for me. The cream ones remind me of bakerlite. Too old fashioned. But if that's the look you're going for then I guess they work.
  12. Sorry guys. I haven't been around for a while. I've been giving end of life care to my mother for the past several weeks / months. Sadly she passed away on 6th January. So the internet hasn't really been hight on my list of priorities. I may revive the thread in the future when I'm in a better frame of mind. Thanks to all who contributed.
  13. Really nice looking bass this. Especially at that price. I've never owned a Jackson, but the guitarist in one of my old bands swore by their guitars.
  14. It's a combination of the vocal harmonies, the musicality and especially the lyrics which are about child abuse.
  15. It just goes to show how very different people are. I will always love you is one song which would have me running for the off button every single time. I could just about cope with Dolly's version, but Whitney's is screechy, over sung, overbearing and overplayed to death. Different horses and all that. For me one of the greatest songs ever recorded is Janie's Got a Gun by Aerosmith, and I highly doubt many people would agree with me.
  16. Sorry guys. Life caught up with me this week. Haven't even had time to listen to last week's. So I'm happy to go with @BillyBass suggestion above.
  17. Precisely! If delivery is offered I'll have it. If not, I'm not interested.
  18. Ooh I hate that one! There's loads of stuff I would happily buy but I wouldn't have a clue how to arrange my own courier to pick it up.
  19. Another interesting one this week. Latin pop/post punk/rock. Not exactly a go to genre for me but I'm give it a go. Bandcamp https://lavidaboheme.bandcamp.com/album/ser Spotify https://open.spotify.com/album/3pmsaPjaLVhM7In7eZKEre Tidal https://tidal.com/album/129682964 YouTube
