Nope. As part of my day job back in the UK I travelled all over the UK living in hotels for about 6 years. Not something I ever want to repeat. Sorry guys. I haven't been around for a while. I've been giving end of life care to my mother for the past several weeks / months. Sadly she passed away on 6th January. So the internet hasn't really been hight on my list of priorities. I may revive the thread in the future when I'm in a better frame of mind. Thanks to all who contributed.

It's a combination of the vocal harmonies, the musicality and especially the lyrics which are about child abuse.

It just goes to show how very different people are. I will always love you is one song which would have me running for the off button every single time. I could just about cope with Dolly's version, but Whitney's is screechy, over sung, overbearing and overplayed to death. Different horses and all that. For me one of the greatest songs ever recorded is Janie's Got a Gun by Aerosmith, and I highly doubt many people would agree with me.
