  1. Bought a Squier bass for my wife from Mike. Lovely chap and great communication. As mentioned above, a credit to Basschat. Highly recommended!
  2. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  3. Great chap, Steve. Bargain price for a premium pedal and didn't charge any extra for special delivery. Great communication. Hope I can buy from him again some day!
  4. Nice one, thank you! "Can do a lot else besides. It does retain the low end well IMO and you can dial in clean blend if you want even more low end. They come up reasonably often in the FS for around £75 to £95 used." Are you referring to the Aftershock there or the A/O?
  5. I really like the Omega side of the A/O pedal but I'm reluctant to drop over £200 for just that one sound. Is anyone aware of any pedals out that are similar to just this side of the A/O? Reference video from about 2:45 for example.
  6. Do you have a link? e: I'm very interested in the Warwick cab here as well if anyone cares to comment:
  7. Thanks everyone. I think there's a good enough consensus here that the Peavey 410 TVX is what I'll aim for. As for Ashdown MAG stuff, is it all good? Am I looking only for the valve ones? As an aside, I'm picking up a Boss LS2 tonight to see if it will help me beef up the low end a bit when I stomp my DS1. edit: Thinking of this specifically
  8. That's very kind of you Paul but I'm all the way down in Devon haha Yeah I reckon that would be good. I'm gonna do some shopping around for heads and see what the situation is. Thanks for the tip!
  9. Thanks Lozz196, So just so I'm clear. What exactly am I looking for in a cab that means it will perform much better than this Hartke?
  10. Thanks for your help. I like the look of these amps so will keep an eye out for them. And I'm guessing you strongly recommend using an 8x10, whether that's in a complete box or in 2 lots of 4?
  11. It's this one: https://www.thomann.de/gb/hartke_vx_410.htm
