  1. Hello, I live in France, and I recently exchanged a 1972 Fender precision against an F AC5 bass in england. TheBass F AC5 was blocked for more than a month at the level of the French customs which is totally overwhelmed! Impossible to reach them the customs clearance service of the French post office which is called Wissou is completely unreachable. moreover for a declared value of 1000 pounds the customs fees amounted to .... 300 euros !!!! The bass arrived this morning after a month and 7 days of waiting ... inform yourself well before the transaction ! the French post and customs clearance service is lamentable Best regards

Hi Hello I do not know if a finish was redone, I had a 71 which had the finish as impeccable as the one and which was original. It's hard to know, I'm not a specialist enough! all I know is that it sounds awful !!

  14. Yes these are really great pickups, I have an original jazz bass of 1969 and the sound of these pickups is really similar
  15. Yes this is earthing strips that I've put in all my jazz bass guitares ( I've 4 JB) because I use the bass in my recording studio often juste in front of big mixings desks and I want to avoid any Buzzzzzz with desk and Neve 1073 preamps. It's very effective.

  18. Hello I am very interested to quickly buy your bass. I already have a BN5, and I wish to have the same in fretless. Can you guarantee that the repair does not affect the operation of the instrument that I want to keep for life! because I know from experience that such a repair will make the resale of the instrument almost impossible. Moreover F does not offer spare parts for its bass, so it is impossible to buy a new neck. I live in France, here is my direct email: [email protected] best regards
