  1. I recently had another bass up for sale and had a few trade options, this is what I received this in a trade, but I've decided I really don't need 3 basses. This just seems to have replaced the last bass as a wall ornament; among my Wilcock and Tim Commerford Signature,  it just isn't getting used.

It great condition, no dinks/marks or dents that I could find. It plays well and will come with a standard fender gig bag.

All standard apart from there looks to have been a thumb rest installed at some point (which I removed, but it's in the gig bag).

I'd prefer collection but I'm also willing to drive a reasonable distance. If shipping is the only option, get in touch and we can try and figure something out!

I'd consider trades/partial trades for some of the below items :

    • BassRIG Super Vintage
    • Subway D-800/WD-800 (or other variations)

    • Orange Terror Bass

Thanks for reading - any questions, get in touch.

  2. Purchased new from PMT in Bristol in 2018, lovely slim and very playable neck (39mm at the nut) and in very good condition. All standard with the exception of being fitted with Schaller strap locks. No major dings or marks that I can find, only some light scratches on the pick guard. The bass is nice and light - weight is 8lb on the nose according to my bathroom scales

Unfortunately, one of the gig bag handle is partial torn (thanks to my dog who was a puppy at the time), you should be able to see that in the photograph.

The only reason I'm looking to sell is that I've fully converted to short scales and it just doesn't get played anymore.

Although I'm really looking to sell, I'd consider a trade (for a short scale, maybe a JMJ mustang) or partial trade (with cash my way) for a decent DI pedal (Sansamp V2 or origin effects bass rig).

I'd prefer a collection or meet up - I'm in central London on Tuesday and Wednesday every week or I'd be happy to drive halfway. But if it's not possible shipping is a possibility at the buyer's expense and risk - I have a box, but I'd really rather not post a bass without a hard case, I'd be happier buying a hard case for shipping and add that onto the price.

    Any questions, let me know!

On that note, does anyone know whether the small TC Electronic pedals (e.g. Spectracomp or Spark mini) turn on automatically when powered?

Just checked my SpectraComp and it does maintain it's on/off state between being powered, so it will be on if it when powered (providing it was on when you powered it down!).

  4. I guess these need no introduction really - purchased from a fellow BC'er (@karlfer) about two years ago, it's a great example, lovely playing and sounding bass.

    • Great condition, no dents or dink that I can find - there is a small amount of marking on the body and pick guard from pick playing, but as you can see from the pictures, it's not really visible from most distances.
    • This is all as standard, with the exception of a hipshot drop tuner on the E string (I'll throw in the the original tuner too).
    • Weight according to an average of what my bathroom and kitchen scales read is about the 4kg/9lb mark.
    • Hard case included, there is a crack on one corner and a small portion of the outer shell missing on the bottom (pictures of both are below).
    • Also includes a tortoise shell pickguard.
    • Most of the original case candy is there too (everything I received, minus an instrument cable that I needed in a pinch :))

I picked up a Wilcock short scale about a year ago and I'm a full convert to short scale, I've just picked up another short scale and I haven't really touched any of my other basses since, hence the sale.

I'm based on the Suffolk/Cambridge border but I'm happy to meet people halfway if it helps. If needed, I can find a box and post at the buyer's expense, but I'd rather not if possible, I've heard too many horror stories!

    Questions and viewings very welcome!

  5. Purchased this some time ago with grand ideas - clearly these never came to anything given that I found this when we moved house and forgot I even owned it!

In great condition as it's barely seen the light of day, although it does have some velcro on the bottom.

Here's the info from their website:

With the Mooer L6, controlling your pedals has never been so easy and convenient. The L6 is a programmable 6 channel loop controller. After connecting your pedals to the 6 true bypass loops, the L6 provides a control hub right at the front of your pedalboard which can be operated in 2 different ways.

In preset mode, any combination of multiple loops can be instantaneously engaged or disengaged at the touch of a single footswitch, without the need to tap dance all over your pedalboard. In this mode the Loop Controller has 6 banks, with 6 presets in each bank, giving a total of 36 possible preset pedal combinations available.

In Live mode the L6 operates in a more traditional manor. Each loop has its own dedicated footswitch which simply engages and disengages it's respective loop. This is perfect for the more old school musicians who simply want their pedals footswitches conveniently relocated for easy access. Each loop has a backlit display panel which can be written on or can take the colored stickers provided and makes it easy to see at a glance which loops are engaged and disengaged.

Postage is an extra fiver, collection is of course, also welcomed.

Any questions, give me a shout!

  7. I purchased this here on basschat last week, and turns out I don't actually need it at all (got it for one song, which we're no longer doing!)

It's in pretty much perfect condition (it has velcro on the back) and is in the original box.

Just looking to get back what I paid for it (£65 + £5 postage).

  8. Purchased a Aguilar TH350 from Steve and it was extremely well packaged, and sent quickly.

As others have said, Steve is a pleasure to deal with and everything went very smoothly.

    Thanks again 👍

  9. *NOW TRADED*

Picked this up almost 2 years ago, here's the original post for some extra pictures:

I'm now unfortunately in a very similar situation to Chris in that I've loved the sound but about a month after I picked this up, I injured my back and now the weight is a bit much to be lugging around!

I've used this for mainly rehearsing with a few bands and a couple of gigs. It's easily kept up with a loud band with plenty more to give.

I'd rather not ship it, but I'm happy to drive to meet people within reason.

Trade offers welcome via PM - I'm looking replacement lightweight combo (or a separate cab and head) or I'd consider a short scale bass (either option with cash either way).

    Weight is just over 25kg.

  10. *SOLD*

In great condition, been on my board for about 18 months when I bought it new from Andertons, but in my set-up it's become a glorified compressor so I've gone back to a SpectraComp to save a bit of space.

Comes box, with the original power supply and usb cable.

Price includes postage (I'll knock a tenner off for collection

  11. Absolute beauty!

I would have snapped your arm off a week ago but I've just placed an order on a new Wilcock bass, I really don't think I can justify this too!

GLWTS, should fly off the shelf!
