Latest and greatest of the all-in-one board. Hoping to give the Nux MLD a good airing at practice tomorrow. LS-2 is for "more me" in my IEMs, the Harley Benton GPA is a 100w power amp for driving a cab (so the singer and guitarist can hear me). DI to desk comes out of the MLD. Been fiddling with IRs and such and honestly pretty happy with everything.

Latest incarnation. Having a power amp and an IEM feed out on the board is super versatile. LS-2 is used as a 'more me' blend.

Bought a pedal off Dan. Very pleasant to deal with and quick well packaged delivery. 👍

Graham swapped my Ibanez BTB for his OLP Tony Levin Sig. Good communication and very helpful, not to mention understanding when I got stuck in traffic. Had a nice chat on top of it. Only good things to say really!

Resurrecting this thread to ask where people go to get their music releases reviewed in the world of metal? Album was released on the 13th August. There are few blogs I'm aware of that have corresponding facebook pages but any suggestions welcome.

Finally got our new album coming out on the 13th August, and super pleased with it. Joined this band before lockdown so it feels really good to finally have something to show for it. Hope people like it, more to come. Ed

Went back to my cheapo Donner board and ditched the wireless unit, since it was just too high off the floor to hit the switches comfortably. Turns out the narrow bar on the board makes a rather good carry handle...might wrap it in grip tape? Have also realised that every pedal on here was bought second hand - only the Fuel Tank and the board were new purchases.

Slight update (excuse the sock). Got myself a Hypergravity so now the MS-60B is just LPF/Tuner (and as a 'just in case' I suddenly decide I need octave or something...).

Pretty happy with this now - should take care of business for the foreseeable. MS-60B is there for compression, a bit of low cut, and tuning. LS-2 is there so I can switch between wireless input and a cable with minimal faffing. Wireless and power supply underneath. LED strips as well because I'm a tart.

Mike sold me his EHX Bass Battalion, arrived super quick, incredibly well packed, in basically pristine condition. Lovely helpful chap to deal with. Thoroughly recommended.

First Stingray. This is my other 5. And my Jazz is BEAD strung. Mainly the Stingray sound I was after.

Picked this up last night from a chap in Andover, had my eye on it via Farcebook Marketplace and when the price dropped I felt it would be rude not to! I wanted a 5 that would cut a bit more than my BTB (it's a lovely bass, but a bit polite in character and this is a metal.band - although I'm fully prepared to admit the action might be too high). This thing clangs like Optimus Prime in a tin bath. Nice tight string spacing, low B behaves itself, electronics are quiet and gutsy and it's got a maple board (gone right off rosewood). As a bonus I got to try out the sellers Elite series Jazz (very tasty). Honeymoon period obviously but this might become my main instrument.

I've got myself a weekend ticket, going to try and drag a bunch of bass playing mates along. Will probably imbibe a completely reasonable amount of beverages on the Saturday evening too. I'm sure I can try out basses with a hangover.

Bought a SKB rack case off Steve, very responsive and friendly, had a nice chat about TC combos and pedals. Would recommend. Cheers!
