Maybe. I'm no expert in these things so I bow to your superior knowledge.

No, sorry. Possibly basswood? All I can say is that it is quite lightweight.

P Bass body which I purchased a while back with the intention of making up a bitsa. The previous owner had widened the neck pocket to fit a 5 string neck and I was going to reconstruct it to take a 4 string neck.
With too many projects on the go at the moment it need to go to someone who can make use of it. The body is nice and light weighing in at a smidge over 3lbs.
Can post at cost.

I'm just about to fit one of these string adapters to my headless bass so that I can use Ernie Ball Cobalts on it. Does anyone have any tips or advice before I go ahead with this? My main concern is if it is ok to trim the top of the string flush with the adapter so there are no sharp string ends exposed and that the flats don't start to unwind.
Thanks in advance.

Several years ago when playing in a small function band we used a Yamaha MDF2 with an MU50 sequencer for keys fill. That worked well for us and was very reliable. Looking on the internet at second hand units they seem to be holding their value so a more cost effective option for you could be to get a cheap laptop, load it up with an older version of Cakewalk or other similar midi software and get a USB to midi interface, something like an Erirol UM-1SX which will then connect to your Alesis module.

Thank you to everyone for the responses. The Hipshot product looks the dogs but ouch, the price!
@Smanth I will pm you to discuss the option of getting something CNC machined.

Yes the 2 Bulgin connectors plug straight into the leads provided so everything is there to get up and running straight away. There is no separate footswitch but the buttons on the controller are fairly easy to operate with your feet so less clutter really. Fairly sure they are narrow spots but can check over the weekend if this is critical.

Has anyone come across a head piece replacement such as this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185589296645 but for a 5 string? I am aware of the 5 string adaptor which sits on top of the original head piece but this looks a far tidier option. Nothing has come up on a Google search.
I can contact the seller to see if a 5 string version could be made but the cost for the 4 string with postage already looks a bit heavy so prefer to investigate any alternatives which could be out there.
Thanks.

Not really. Wantage is about 70 mile from me.

A pair of generic RGB LED wash moving heads for sale. Complete with gig bag. DMX or sound controllable. One quirk with these units is that in about one in five times they don't boot up correctly at the initial power up. This is simply resolved by disconnecting the power and re-powering again, after that they work fine and it has never bothered me. The important things is though is that all the LED's are working as they should. - SOLD
Collection from south Warwickshire.

Pair of Logic System LS15 speakers with steel stands. - Sold
Anyone who has owned Logic System gear with vouch for the quality and these cabinets are no exception. It took me a long time to track down a pair of these cabinets but as circumstances have now changed they are reluctantly up for sale.
The cabinets have original drivers, (PHL - same as Nexo and B&C). 15" bass and 2" horn driver. Each cabinet has an integral crossover. They have always been used with a LMS (loudspeaker management system) and always been well looked after. Anyone who has bought gear off me before will confirm how fastidious I am about maintaining it in top condition.
Speakers come with original Logic slip-on covers and Ultimax steel tripod stands (the lightweight alloy stands are just not up to the job!)
Spec sheet is here giving full technical info - LS 15spec R3.pdf
Cash on collection only. No offers. Location is South Warwickshire - B49.
If it makes life easier I would consider a trade option for a 5 string bass of around £1k value with some cash going your way. No J bass designs and Yamaha's though. Let me know what you have.

Stage lighting bundle for sale - includes the following. - Sold
8 x Par56 cans in case with filter gels and frames
2 x T Bars
2 x Ultimax tripod stands (extend to 3.2m)
2 x multicore leads terminated into 8 pin Bulgin plugs (10m and 7m)
Price is £125. No offers. Collection only from B49 - South Warwickshire.
Having a tidy up I have come across a suitable foot controller which I will throw into the bundle. This provides a turn-key solution for a stage lighting set-up.
