  1. A close friend had his Jaydee Supernatural bass stolen about 15 years ago. It is an old bass, serial number 04419, with the Funk groove and brass nut with roller on the G string . Long story short he found his bass for sale on EBay and with police help he got it back. The bass was in a poor state, minus machine heads. The bass was working passively (the active circuit was dead) when he got it back but that has stopped working. I said that I would have a look at it , as I have a little experience of wiring electric ( passive) guitars. When I looked inside I was surprised to see the hot wires were actually under a blob of solder on the volume pot and jack socket, and it looked a mess. Does anyone know if that is how Jaydee / John Digging would have originally wired the bass up? I think they are great basses with a unique tone and a long time ago owned one myself. I really want to help my friend out because the bass is very special to him. I have called Jaydee custom guitars and left a message. I have looked for a wiring diagram or info on the Internet but there is nothing available. Any help , photos of inside the control panel , advice would be very welcome. Thanks in advance for any help.or suggestions.
