    They certainly are! And no longer in production. I love them both, and they both have their character, but one will be adequate for me now. The 15 has never been gigged, just played once a week by me at rehearsals.

    These are great basses, very versatile. This is a Pro Series, made in Korea. Not the Chinese made rock bass series. So it's almost equal to a German made one. Soundwise I would say equal. I've had the German, Korean and Chinese made ones. GLWTS!

    I had one of those, great sounding basses! (I went completely fretless, so I sold it) Gives you all the right tones with a different look. Highly recommended!

    I had one exactly like this. Lovely looks and actually very versatile, that center block does the trick; it's a serious tone monster!

    Just signed a custom order for a black jazz 5 fretless from another luthier....it's gonna cost almost twice this, so someone is getting a really good deal here... GLWTS

    Love the side dots on the fret marks, (even my preference is just dots on 3/5 etc on a fretless) don't think I've seen that before 😄 GLWTS

    I used to have a Korean black one, and also a German in Bubinga. The fancy wood on the German was stunning, but soundwise they were very similar. If this one was fretless, I'd be after it, very nice basses indeed. GLWTS!

    Nice bass! I bought my L2 in -81. After a year, the legrest broke, so I wrote Ned Steinberger a letter (!) and after a couple of weeks there was a new one in my postbox , free of charge. A fantastic sounding bass and an exceptionally reliable work horse. Glwts
