My EUB uses a cymbal stand
This is one of the best gigbags you can get, it's actually like a soft case with over an inch of rigid foam surrounding the instrument on all sides.
It features a large pocket on the front, padded shoulder straps.
It's covered in tough waterproof material.
New these are about £170.
This is quite a heavy case/bag, I travel by train a lot and find it a bit too heavy, but it's ideal if you're travelling to a gig or session by car.
£95 plus postage or personal collection.
I'll take it!
How much for postage? -
Oh that's nice ... famous too ..
So is there anything in the rules about like for like?
How close does it have to be?
Could you, say, IN and new bass and OUT a full bag of recycled newspapers, a few wire coat hangers, an old mains lead and a few fridge magnets??
Wood, wires, magnets .. more or less the same basic ingredients .....
Worth a go ?

I might try that mate, I'll let you know how I get on!
Just replied to some PM's peeps. -
Cheers for the words guy's. Just been playing this on a session at work, not sure I should sell it, but we now operate a strict one in one out rule at home

Hi Guy's , I'm tempted to sell my Valenti P, only cause I've ordered a new fretless. The quality of this bass is right up there with the best (as you'd expect from a former Sadowsky employee), in fact there is no real difference between the Valenti and my NYC Sadowsky. Fit and finish is excellent.
Here's the spec:
Swamp Ash Body
Transparent Blue Finish
Maple neck with Maple fretboard
Satin Finish on neck
Nordstrand NP4 Precision Pickup
Aguilar OBP-1 preamp
Controls: volume, bass, treble
Hipshot HB-1 Tuning Keys
Hipshot D-tuner
Gotoh Quick Release Bridge
Black Pearl Pickguard
Black Hardware
Also will come with a fitted SKB hard case.
Here's a couple of reviews of this very bass:

Try www.valentibasses.com Nino has one of his basses in the spec you want, soo much better than a Fender MIA.
Man, that Valenti is boooooootiful ^_^
Yeah it rocks mate, one of the nicest P's I've played (including some early '60's ones as well.) -
That sounds interesting. Skabilly? Not heard of this genre but it has me intrigued!
It works a treat mate, suprisingly well actually. -
i've got a sneaking suspicion the skabilly rebels is residing in the storage room at a certain studio in leicester.
unless i've not read the skin properly
Almost right mate, we currently jam in Coventry, but Bear keeps his gear in Leicester as we both teach there. -

If you get a chance try a Valenti (www.valentibasses.com), Nino's work is top and he's an ex-Sadowsky NYC employee too.
Here's mine:

28" Sanyo widescreen TV and stand (like above). TV has an intermittent fault (sometimes the screen goes green) but it may be easy to sort out. Remote control included. Free to collector. We're near junction 4a of the M3 in Hampshire.
Just to be helpfull if you get a green screen while watching something through the scart socket it will prob be the scart socket or the scart lead pulling to one side. Hope this helps some one. -
I got a Furman for £50 (£200 retail) off eBay recently - they do come up quite often...
I think I only paid £25 for mine years ago cause the guy I brought it off had 4or 5 of them from doing raves and partys off generators. -
Yes, Dave's slipping a bit there... I don't know if you tried the JayDee as well, but that's in dire need of some TLC as well. Certainly didn't inspire me to buy either of them! If I ever open a bass shop, all used basses will be set up and have clean strings before they go on sale!
I tried both of those at electro a while back and they both needed some love to say the least, also the 20th ann Stingray needed a good set up when I played it. -
I use one as I find the power at festivals can be iffy at times.

I've been using a furman for too many years, it's been geat.

The Paulman ones come with one as standard, how ever I'll take some photos as it looks like standard drum hardware bits to me.
