  1. Apologies for my ignorance, but I am new to EUBs. Does a 3/4 sized EUB mean that it is suitable for younger players? So as a 6" adult should I be looking for a 4/4 EUB? Thanks, Mark
  2. Hi, sorry for the delay here but I didn’t own any weighing scales as funny as that sounds. weight of the Lakland bass is 3.1kg thanks.
  3. Hi All. Sometimes it's only when you put something up for sale that you realise the level of sentimental value it holds. I've literally played all gigs in the last 11 years on this bass. And as my wife helpfully pointed out, if I died she'd keep the bass because of all the memories it holds, but if I got a new one, she'd just sell it. 😂 So i'm withdrawing this one. But... if you fancy a Lakland PJ4 - then I have one of those that I only got last year and holds no sentimental value, so that one is for sale! Best Rgds, Mark
  4. @bassmasta2b - I don't have the old spec to hand or weighing scales, but looking at others that are the same model, looks to be about 8.8lbs
  5. Sadowsky MV PJ5 - £1,700 (excl. condition) I bought this new in 2009. It's been my no.1 bass for over a decade and kept in stunning condition. It's a beautiful translucent white finish, so you can see the woodgrain really nicely. Just a few scratch marks on the scratch plate and natural slight wear to the back of the bass, but overall in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures. Happy to send any more pictures directly for anyone seriously interested. I don't have all the official measurements now, but it's got an ash wood body, maple neck, 5 string. I have kept it for so long as I was so happy with how the sound just found its place in the mix so effortlessly and never needed to dial in any frequencies to compensate. All the FOH engineers I worked with always commented on how they didn't need to do anything to the signal. I love this bass, but I feel it's time to move on, so happy for this to find a new home now.
  6. I bought this new last year. It's only been used a handful of times because I'm playing bass a lot less now. Beautiful natural finish and solid tone with a nice bit of growl typical of Lakland basses. Collection is preferred, but I can ship at extra cost. Feel free to message me with any questions. See below for the official blurb. The 44-64 is modelled after the venerable workhorse '64 P bass. 7. Haha. Sorry I guess you can’t see my face when I go Grrr. It’s a growl! 🙂 this Bass has a nice amount of growl to it.

  9. Now reduced to £800. 🤩 I bought this new this year. It's only been used a handful of times because I'm playing bass a lot less due to family circumstances now. Beautiful natural finish and solid tone with a nice bit of grrr typical of Lakland basses. I hadn't intended on selling it, but it appears buying some bikes for my kids and teaching them to ride might need to be a higher priority for me at the moment. Collection is preferred, but I can ship at extra cost. Message me with any questions. The 44-64 is modelled after the venerable workhorse '64 P bass. 10. Selling the EBS Multi-Comp compressor pedal, as I now have the Darkglass Hyper Luminal. This is a solid, unbreakable compressor unit, built like a tank and had very little use from me. In great working order and comes with velcro on the bottom to go straight onto your pedalboard. £50 if collected, or happy to add postage and post within the UK. Let me know if you have any questions.
  11. Hey guys, thanks for your comments. I'm no longer needing to sell this one so will be taking it off the market for the time being. Thanks.
  12. I have no idea on the technicalities I’m afraid, but using an 8ohm cab with it I can tell you that is has plenty of punch and I have never needed more from it. Annually use it at a festival in a tent for 7,000 and has always given enough. I actually never ride it above about 40% as it feeds into other stage mics that they’re not too keen on when recording a live album. 🙂
  13. Darkglass Vintage for sale, in excellent condition - £150 (+shipping - UK Mainland only) I upgraded this to a Vintage Deluxe because I liked it so much. Yours for a small fee. 🙂 Darkglass Electronics Website: "The Microtubes Vintage is our tribute to some of the most legendary sounds in rock history. It provides warm tube-like tones with a natural dynamic response that echoes the organic compression of old tube amps and reel-to-reel tape machines."
  14. Orange Terror Bass 500 Amp - £300 Very Good condition amp, works perfectly. I've owned this for several years and it's had minimal use, as most of the time I play with in-ear monitors and have no need of an amp. This has been kept in the house in storage and comes out for 1 gig each Summer. Time to move on so I can re-invest in something I'll get more use out of. Orange Website: "Maintaining the size of the original Tiny Terror, the Terror Bass is a 500 watt hybrid amplifier with a Class D solid state power section and the same preamp as our all-valve AD200B UK bass amp. With the same great looks as the other Terror series guitar amps, and a rugged construction that will stand up to the road, bass players can now become a part of the famed “Tiny Terror Club.” Orange 2x12 600W Isobaric Cab - £350 Very good condition. Cosmetic wear and tear visible in the photos, but again this cab has been used rarely and spends most of the time in the house locked in a cupboard. Perfect working order and packs a punch for such a small package. Orange Website: "The revolutionary Orange SmartPower Bass Cabinets are ultra portable yet extremely powerful. The SP212 feature a ported Isobaric cabinet design and use lightweight Neodymium speakers. Both speakers in the SP212 are front-facing, one behind the other. The space between the front speaker’s magnet and the rear speaker’s cone is airtight, ensuring that both speakers vibrate in conjunction with one another, thus keeping them in phase. They may be small, but SmartPower bass cabs sound huge.
  15. A few pedals for sale as I'm switching things up a bit... the darkglass comes with a box, the other two don't I'm afraid. Prices include postage to UK mainland. Darkglass Vintage - £160 £150 (needs no introduction - I liked this one so much I've now gone and got a Vintage Ultra!) 18. I'd be interested in popping over your way tomorrow if you'd do the Terror for £300?
