2. Sad news... The bass has basically been destroyed by my hands! (Though - it was in pretty bad condition on looking closely.) 40 year old screws are impossible to move with messed up threads, and well - it did not go well! I've pretty much given up on the project, it's been bashed up from me trying to remove the screws sadly - and the neck's fretboard is delaminating. If you want to take it, PM me! It's a lot of work and I thought I'd have the passion and patience to to it but I don't, haha. It's more bashed up now, thanks to my "handywork" but hey, could be a fun project for someone with a lil more time, patience and expertise than me.
3.
Its a jazz neck, thanks.
Oooooh, I really can't resist this... If it's still here next week, I doubt it though. GLWTS and I'm already jealous of whoever gets this
4. Such a lovely bass. Always wanted an Atelier Z, just shortscale isn't for me I don't think. Open to trades, or only cash?
5. If you can post, I miiiiight be able to snag this.
6. Hi mate - how heavy is this bass? Really tempting... edit: how does the neck feel? faster than a jazz...?
7. Only thing is the G string is a new roundwound it seems, and the others are all original flatwounds. Sucks, anyone selling a forty year old flatwound g string?
8. Corr, nice surprise! Cheers for the info guys, it's definitely bashed up and needs lots of work but I'll try work on it. Haha, sounds decent enough, here are some pics! http://imgur.com/a/jaa3y
9. So, on holiday in a not so sunny Sidmouth right now, just found this beauty. Sounds alright acoustic, but I get an unholy hiss that's loud, with no audio whatsoever. I've read up a little, don't know it its made of plywood or tonewood, but it was £30, just for the lovely road-worn finish it was worth it! Pretty sure the ground wire on the bridge is buggered, either that, or the pickups are broken! They are rusted, after all! I'd appreciate it if anyone here knows much more on these basses, it's nice to play though I'll have to set her up.
10. Hmm, just wondering outside of sale - with the bass, the tilt screw - could it be replaced? I've seen too many with it lost.
11.
Cheers, I've already got 3 Warwick 5ers hence no need for any more lol!
I'm just looking for a Warwick four string! They're rare, and when they aren't out my price range, no trades! As much as I love my five string, I need a thin neck, haha.
12. If only you were after a five string! Lovely bass mate. GLWTS
13. Lovely bass Don, shame I just got a new rig - sounds great with the Kingston MTD though. GLWTS. Don is a great guy and shipped my bass outstandingly!
14. Just bought a RH450+cabs from Matt, thank you mate. Was all good, amp is as described and definitely shatters the windows Cheers!
15. Glossy necks are horrid - can't deal with them, you need lube! 😂
16. Awwh! If you can ship, I'm all for 450 right now... Been looking around for Gen 3 barefaced stuff, nobody is selling the smaller ones! D: Based in Swindon...
17. Hi mate. Willing to do the combo by itself? You had the discount price a while back which I was seriously considering - collection would be a huge hassle for me though...

19. Does this mod make the amp sound more like the 121H? Honestly much preferred the 121H, definitely had more detail in the sound when I tried it out @ Andertons. No idea how it sounds with a loud drummer, sax and guitarist, but it felt more defined than the P. The only thing is... as lovely as they sound, Markbass definitely are things to buy used... And I can't find any 121Hs for sale...!
20. From experience, the briefcase alone really isn't enough. I hook the line out of the suitcase into the input of the briefcase; it gets pretty loud, but honestly the drummer I play with isn't that loud. PJB stuff is definitely more 'hi-fi' so maxing out the volume can swamp the sound. Prefer to keep volume at 70% or below, and I split the two amps either side of the stage.
21. lovely little amp, PJB really is premium stuff great for practices and small gigs, GLWTS!
