  1. I’ve just checked and it’s a cross head. So I imagine its a neck off situation. This makes sense as its a ‘traditional’ model I guess!
  2. WITHDRAWN - NO LONGER FOR SALE Price drop before listing on eBay at the weekend! Now £800 delivered in UK…. Fender FSR 70’s Precision Bass Made In Japan. (MIJ) Hi all. Im selling (no trades I’m afraid) my Made In Japan, Fender Factory Special Run, 70’s Traditional Precision Bass in white. It has a 40mm nut width, 7.25” radius and a thin U shaped neck which makes it very comfortable to play. I bought it new and rarely played it and it has never been gigged. It’s in mint condition. White with Black pickguard looks awesome in my eyes! It will come with a fender hard case which has seen better days but perfectly useable for now and definitely enough for shipping purposes. I thought I’d try selling here before evil bay! If you have any questions just ask. £800 delivered to mainland UK. Cheers! Here’s the fender specs for it: What Fender say... Equipped with original pickups that support a wide range of genres, this recreation of the '70s Precision Bass features alder body, a slim neck with a nut width of 40 mm, wide frets and is designed to provide great playability without compromising the rock'n'roll spirit. 3. A ripple free transaction for my GK Cabs with Paddy and it was an incredibly smooth ride all the way. An absolute pleasure to deal with Paddy and communication was perfect! I would highly recommend Paddy! Cheers!
  4. Feedback thread for Bassman985. Thanks all.
  5. Just bought a bass from Martyn. My first purchase from the site and Martyn made it a seamless one! great bass, great to deal with and everything went silky smooth. Thanks very much Martyn!
  6. i voted yes. I really wanted an all valve head again like i had back in the day, but the cost is stupid these days. Even secondhand. Also the weight is a total killer! 41-50 here too and as above, the easier my life the bettter. (and also the gaming in pants!)
  7. Cheers Bottle. I should have mentioned that i already have enough speakon leads (i also have a bass terror where i can use one speakon cable per cab), but maybe i should consider making one/getting one made anyway. That'd be a nice bespoke solution specifically for use with the tc and i'd know the quality too! I'll look into that! It is nice to know that my theory isnt way off though and thats what matters! (along with no amp going up in smoke!) cheers
  8. Hi all, I believe this is my first post though ive been a stalker for a while. I have a new TC BH550 head and wish to use it with my 2x (8ohm) GK NEO112's. However, the TC head and the GK cabs both only have 1 connector. Thus i cant use one lead per speaker, nor indeed feed one cab to the other. In a bid to not have to sell the GK Cabs and buy something else, i struck upon the idea of a splitter as per a box: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pulse-Neutrik-NL4-Speakon-Splitter/dp/B00NWFIMTG or a lead: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B015EUTOMU/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00NWFIMTG&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=KJASXGV4BM5PJT0WJCDY. The box seems to be a better long term bet for gigging. I know all the impedance sums add up etc so in my head it should work no problem. Can someone confirm my thinking please?! Or has anyone done anything similar with unexpected results?! thanks in advance
