  8. George bought my Spector from me. He's an absolute gentlemen and credit to the BC community. Deal went through flawlessly, with the exception of Parcelforce giviing us both a heart attack when they appeared to have lost the package! Luckily, all ended well. Hope you dig your new bass fella!
  9. Sorry to see you have to let this one go, it's an absolutely fantastic instrument. GLWTS 👍🏻
  10. I'm exactly the same! I much prefer a natural finish, but when I went to look at this one to try it out, I was chatting to the seller and couldn't take my eyes of it!
  11. Yeah, I saw your ad, can definitely relate! I've put mine in the case, under the bed. Out of sight and all that 😅
  12. Totally. I honestly thought I'd be taking this to the grave with me, but my loss is someone else's gain for sure.
  13. Price drop to £400!!!! I'm regretfully selling my awesome NS2000/4, a rare beast which has an excellent and well deserved reputation. Made in 1999, the first year of manufacture in Korea, and is finished in a deep, high gloss translucent red finish (hard to photograph, beautiful in the flesh). She's been an infrequently played case-queen since I bought her in 2011 and, with the exception of a tiny (but very annoying when it happened) dint on the top edge of the body (please see pics) is in immaculate condition. Specs - 3-piece maple neckthru with graphite reinforcements Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays 2 EMG "HZ" humbucker pickups 4 knob Active EQ Black hardware with cast bridge and sealed tuners Curved body with maple wings 34" scale / 24 fret neck Brass nut EMG HZ pickups Classic Spector growl Weight approx 9.5lb Sold in totally original condition with no mods or changes, she even has a couple of the protective plastic thingys left on the tuners and will be supplied in a Gator semi-hard case. Collection in person from Eastbourne, East Sussex is much preferred, but shipping at buyers arrangement and cost can be arranged. Thanks for looking, any questions let me know.
  14. Ah yeah, I think I've got this file somewhere. Seeing them side by side, the horns are different actually. Cheers
  15. Oh cool! Mines Korean too (99) not sure where that fits into the break of Stuarts ownership? I have to say, they built some fantastic basses out there, my 2000 saw off a Czech rebop, it just didn't have the magic that the 2000 has.
  16. Are they Czech? Mines got the same narrower and maybe longer top horn as yours, that's quite rare isn't it?
  17. @Quilly this one doesn't have that problem at all, very modern but sits right in any mix with just tweaks. I really like the pre amp, lots of bass on tap. Heavy though...
  18. @Quilly I had a passive TT4. I found it very bright and struggled to get a real deep bass thump out of it. Think that had Sandberg pickups. Lovely to play though and really well made. Mine was very light, around 4-5kg I think.
  19. Surely the most comfortable bass shape ever made? Spector NS2000/4 curved body thru neck, maple wings, gorgeous unplugged acoustics. Just lovely 🙂
