1. Curious to see if anyone (preferably in EU) would like to trade their WHITE pickguard (off a black Squier Bass VI) for my TORT guard (off a white Squier Bass VI). Value on ebay for these seem to be about 50$ new, mine is hardly used in very good condition (will send pictures). Expecting trade to be in reasonably good condition as well. /Mikke, Sweden
2. I've tried a LOT and now I am loving my Xotic pedals. RC for light od/grit and BB for more dirt.
3.
You have two pre-amps and a "boost" on the big board. Do you switch between them, or cascade them?
The Trilogic acts as a preamp (always on), the BB is actually more of an OD despite the name, and the RC is a light OD/Boost. They all sound amazing, on their own or cascaded.
4. (Hmmm...how did that picture get so big?) I set up a small "grab and go" board with an EWS Trilogic 2 and fell so much in love with it that I decided to get one for my main board as well, and replace the DOD fx10 with it. It just sounds SO good. And with the other two Xotic pedals for boost/od and texture it's just great. The small board shares the same basic chain of Trilogic and Multicomp (the unfinished pedal is a Barbershop clone), makes it easy to switch between them.
5.
Gotta love that upper shelf full of Strymon goodness.
Definitely - I love them. I've sort of decided to stay on a PT Jr, wich might be a good insurance against buying waaay too many Strymons...
6. New to Basschat and thought I'd show my main pedalboard. I've gone through a lot of stuff like probably most of us, but sort of settled on this. For now. It's probably been like this longer than any of my previous boards at least A Voodoo Labs PP Digital resides underneath and the whole board nests in a Mono PB1 Club bag - the best purchase I've ever made I think. Makes the old Pedaltrain bag look like paper grocery bag... I am in the process of making a smaller pedalboard for "grab and go" and recordings, a PT Nano that will likely hold a EWS Trilogic 2, Multicomp, Barbershop clone and a tuner. Will show that later !
