  1. nice rig mate, glad you like the Geddy, cheers Lee
  2. yep, and you can also make fine adjustments from the back via 4 allen keys...........The strap button is so you can play it upright like a cello/double bass, its doesnt extend though so you would need a chair.........
  3. yeh, its more like a stingray, but really it has a unique sound, it has 4 pickups which all have their own adjustable volume, they are definitely unique to Atlasia.... will throw Geoff old carpet free! Cheers Lee
  4. Hi Guys, Ive decided to sell my Atlansia bass. Date code suggests it was made in 1986, i bought it from music ground in leeds in 2003. Check out my post in bass porn for more info, Im asking £1200.....bearing in mind this bass was for sale in music ground in 1987 for £1495. Its in fantastic condition and has never been giged. Anyone who want to come and try this is welcome as its quite an unusual bass..... Thanks Lee

  9. Hi, im selling my Geddly lee jazz. I bought it 5 years ago and it hasnt left my house, ive always prefered my westones so it hasnt got a look in and is completly unmarked. It comes with a fender soft case, i would prefer not to post, hence £375 pickup only im also selling a tobias toby pro (also because it doesnt say westone on the headstock!) which i bought 6 years ago, its also unmarked. Its active with a thru neck. Im asking £175 collected. thanks for lookin, NOW ASKING 350 for the JAZZ and 150 for the TOBIAS............I might not be able to access the net for a few days so feel free to ring me direct on 07862730697...cheers Lee
  10. Heres what im really into, cheap jap firewood! Also got a geddy lee and a tobias toby pro which im gonna stick up on the for sale pages soon........ Been playing for so long i know what i like, and what i like is westones!
  11. the only problem i find with the atlansia garland is the fact that it doesnt say westone thunder on the headstock!!! hahaha
  12. hi guys and gals, i remember first seeing this bass at music ground in leeds about 1986/87 priced at £1495 and wanted it bad!! however it was way beyond my budget. it turned back up at music ground about 5 years ago and they had just got it back. It was missing a knob and an e string and looking a bit sorry for itself. i paid £1000. The guy who owns the shop brought it back from the atlansia factory in the mid 80s. the bass is a garland dx with a graphite reinforced neck and it is passive. the neck is like a baseball bat! round!! and real solid, no flex and no truss rod! action is very low. it sounds like no other bass ive owned, and ive had many basses over the years. It looks mad and sounds like the best stingray you have ever herd!! the photos dont really do it justice, it is pretty much mint for a 22 year old bass. because the neck has a lot of graphite in it, the headstock has massive brass angled inserts that have been added to make the bass balance beautifully. It has loads of other madness going on like a roller string tree and angled knobs with inserts in the body around the knobs, gold mother of pearl markers halfway between the fingerboard and the neck . The neck is birds eye maple and the body is ash that has been kiln dried and seasoned for a minimum of 8 years prior to been made into a bass. date code is the 14th of jan 1986. will add more pix asap and thanks. wezz
  13. hey ped, thanks for this, really intresting seeing what those guys are up to in japan! The pickups rotate to change the volume of each individual string and when on full output produces a slight chorus effect...... Im going to add some more info on mine in the gear porn section........ cheers Wezz
  14. Heres some pics of my atlansia......
