1. I bought a Line 6 Studio 110 amp from the Stockton branch on Wednesday, they were frantically running round and moving stock. Got the amp, a lead and strap for £140 - seemed like a good deal at the time , now I know why.
2. Might seem like a stupid question to some, I have my OLP MM22 bass and am wondering what the different dials and lever/switch settings do ? Been mucking around with them but if someone could either point me in the direction of a manual or explain to me the settings it would be great.
3.
ent 30 quid for 1 hour quite expensive? like the going rate is 15/20 quid as far as i know per hour id want flea or victer wooten teaching me for 30 quid an hour haha
Think Steve is an exceptional bass player, I would love to be able to have some lessons - too far to travel for me.
4. Hi all, Just ordered my first bass and found this forum, so here I am. My musical history involves 1 Fender electric guitar (bought & sold on Ebay), 1 Freshman acoustic guitar (bought & up for sale on Ebay) & 1 Chapman Stick (bought & sold on Ebay). I gave up on the guitars, the stick was old and past it, big shame as I love them. I am now awaiting delivery of a OLP MM22, which has varying reviews but should be a decent starter. Not sure why I have never tried bass, it is my favourite instrument and have always been fascinated by them, always watch the bass player when I go to gigs more than anyone else. I love most music (except Jazz), fave bass players :- Nick Beggs Matthew Seligman Pino Pallidino Matt Pegg Tony Levin Gail Ann Dorsey + loads more which I can't remember at the moment. Will no doubt be firing loads of questions off as soon as I get to grips with my new toy
