@SpondonBassed . They were unavailable in the UK,in fact it took plenty of hunting just to find them :D

Regarding the VAT/import duty, that's not a problem. I always factor that in on purchases,it's Royal Mail adding an extra charge to collect the duty.No matter what happens after Brexit,Royal Mail PLC will most likely still have a stranglehold on postal services. When it comes to delivery we don't have any other options.

I agree with your sentiment, especially after the sell-orf.  Have you referred this matter to the Board of Monopolies & Mergers yet?

Have we many members who work for companies with 'Royal' or 'British' in the name?  Do your bosses run the place like it doesn't even need to try to be competitive or what?  Maybe because having those words in the company title makes it the 'best' before it does anything?  If that's so; it's a knobbish attitude to flaunt at your customers.

I may change my name to English Fred and charge my GP the next time he examines my baubles doing the testicular cancer check.  How's that for a handling charge?

That's a lot of questions for a bill of £16 but that's just me.  How many people would argue the toss for amounts less than £50 anyway?  Who has the time?

I'll go and lie down in a darkened room for a bit.
