The 'no returns' thing on eBay means just no returns in case you change your mind. If there is something wrong, or it is not advertised properly (or there are additional fees) then you can return anyway.
Distance Selling legislation in England & Wales at least (not certain about Scotland / NI) also give the right to change mind without fault for IIRC 14 days. Although buyer then has to cover the shipping costs whereas returning due to a fault should be free.
This applies to business sellers. Private sellers can properly specify "no returns" . Can get difficult if sellers claims to be a private individual but operates more like a sole-trader business.

The bridge looks different to the V3, it was a BBOT for all versions judging by that page.
The bridge is correct. I had one of these except fretless.
Knobs also correct fwiw even though they are not particularly nice esp compared to the more usual types.

Blue Monday - New Order
Never before, or since, have a band built their reputation as "musical geniuses" on a single piece of music before churning out a careers worth of bland, forgettable dross.
Also anybody claiming that Hooky was a great bassist needs an intervention...
You don't have to like it but it remains an era defining piece. Although I sort of prefer 586 in some ways.
Of course there is also the body of work of Joy Division to consider in context.
And fwiw - yes he is. (Not the Revenge stuff obvs. Or Freebass. 🤣)

Have got Absolute Radio on and a couple of tunes ago they played the irksome Rehab by Amy Winehouse. Never got all the fuss about her
tbh the fact you had Absolute on (presumably by choice) is the worrying part here 🤣

Picked up a B1Four from Sam yesterday in Brighton (Hove if you must 🙂
Easy and friendly to deal with. Thanks.

Sounds good. But I don't see how changing the fret dimensions facilitates a lower action. Strings nearer the fretboard yes but not closer to the apex of the fret ?

Anything by Keane/ Nickelback.
tbh I think the thread is best kept to actual songs rather than bands etc.
But have to give credit to that one.
I'll make a contribution - REM - Losing My Religion. Not because I've had to play it too much (IIRC I "interpreted" one cover version ever) but just because it grates so much 🙄

Sweet Caroline and boxing - a song to punch people to...
Have you ever heard it played by a ukulele band?
Crossing a line tbh...I never want to hear anything played by a Uke band 😳

Frog Chorus
Proof that McCartney was not a song writing genius
He is though. Also an artist with a large body of work. Meaning it's going to go off piste sometimes.

Absolutely nauseating!
I was going to say I reckon that could well be the version you dislike most 🤣
It's not the best is it and maybe kindest thing to say is that it was motivated by a good cause.
Dislike of the song itself baffles me tbh but we're all different.
Back to Bowie/Jagger - here's someone who was okay with the cover version but hated the video

Well there seems to be some psychological issues at play here 😳
But I'll go with "We Will Rock You" 🤣
If only because chorus is pure cringe 😳

I used to go to a jam night a while ago and stopped going in the end. Problem was the house band always had there favourite musicians so there favourites would be on for several songs and unless you were lucky you would get squeezed in at the end for 1 or 2 songs and occasionally if it was a busy night you might not get to play at all so you would end up at the pub till half eleven on a work night so that you could play for 3-6 minutes, to make it even worse if you showed up even slightly after 8pm they wouldn't even bother trying to make sure you got to play and would use that as an excuse.
tbh ime any "Jam Night" organised by performers taking part is more about the ego of those performers. With little self awareness.

To make it even better (or worse depending on your point of view) I play tenor banjo in a trad jazz band and in the bluegrass band I play bass but get to listen to our excellent 5 string banjo player...best of both worlds.😄
Edit: I had to remove the ' that somehow slipped into the original post...I am getting old I guess.🙄
This is getting dark now 😳

It's impossible to get cover against banjo or accordion players, though.
I think it's possible but the excess is prohibitive 🤣

I think you can get insurance against saxophonists turning up ?

Yes. You could have a faulty pot in there. Electromechanical components are always high on the list of possible causes of failure. You can test the capacitor you remove.
-
I'd say work out what is going on with the existing circuit first. Suggestion - remove the cap. Then check that tone pot has no effect.

Final Price Drop on this. £35 posted mainland UK. Thanks for reading.

Sounds like you need to take a look at the wiring. Sketch it out to see if as expected Vol / Tone configuration.
