Hmm, that does look rather cool, ive not seen that before, but price wise it's above the UR22-C so i don't think il bother. Cheers anyway.
The UR22-C is 179€, the Prime P1 is 89€.

I'd say the Mooer Prime P1 ticks all your boxes.
Or the P2 if you have the extra quids to update.

Just what I was looking for and couldn't find so I bought Chinese Sadowsky. Sorry I lacked of patience. (and also I kinda like the Sadowsky, but I do have a sweet spot for Sandbergs, and this one in this color combo is jst sooooo sexy).

Well. I came to the band with the intention to play Woman From Tokyo, but it was the TM Stevens Version.

It's actually Marylin Manson's version that is the Go To nowadays. 🙂

I bought one of the last Gen1 (green 5er maple fretboard). As @martthebass said, very few thing to sort out, a setup and a bit of filing on some frets. For half the price of a V2, i can live without the roasted neck (maybe I'll change the decal tho, being shallow and all...).

I went to Tallin about ten years ago and it was very reasonable, both to get there and spending whilst out there. An interesting place.
Also, the Russian border is only a 40 minute drive away from the venue for the event, which could be interesting in the current climate...!
I was there last end of August, no worries nor problems were had.
I honestly diud not realize until my Brother told me I was crazy 🙂

Craig Blundell?
Yes, Craig, sorry for the misshap.
Here's a short clip of Craig, ALex and me playing Crazy Train. The singer is the organizer of the Bass Oasis. We had some serious fun.

I registered for this year's edition again, and I can't recommend enough the trip if you can.
Last year with Craig Blundell and Alex Skolnick and Mohini Dey was exceptionnal.
This year, drums duty will be in the hands of Dennis Chambers, so it's a great opportunity to improve your groove.

As I many - too often - commented in this section...
I hate Brexit.

I suppose that with Christmas coming, there will be people travelling to France to get some wine ?
That would be able to get a bass to me ?
No ? -
Saw Guns'n'Roses in PAris in July.
They were not faking it and did a three hours show.Although they should have done a 1h30 show and find a decent opening band.
Axl couldn't keep up, Slash was rambling on lengthy solos... Only Duff was being professional. Although I might say that they had in ears issues and soud problems as sometimes axl was singing but no sound coming out, and same for Slash. It was all in all a great show, but at their age, they might have chosen quality over quantity.

I assembled a bass with a Lefty Harley Benton PB50 body and a Right hended Squire Mike DIrnt neck. The Squier neck was thinner thant the HB, so I had a plastic spacer 3D printed so it fits the neck pocket and add a 0.5° angle to adjust.
I did see a huge improvement in terms of sound despite the spacer being plastic. Of course it allowed a perfect setup of the bass and no more rattles despite the saddles being floored.
There's also a company selling an improved neck plate to get a better tone, so I guess that tone is in the hear of the beholder 🙂- 1

... And I still hate Brexit. This is very appealing.
No one is planning to travel to Northern France ?

As it has has been said earlier by the fine memebers of this parish...
the BTB Series are nice, and have the required 19mm.
Warwick Broadnecks, too, but the neck profiles greatly vary, and the pricepoint is quite different, too.The "best" choice for me lately if the Sandberg, adjstabel width up to 19,5mm, the California series with the bypass-able preamp are very versatile and comfortable. I'd say a VM5 if you're not into Jazz.
But you should definetely go out there and try some different instruments to make sure you get everything you need.
-
I do realize that it's not your first intention, however I'll buy that neck should you decide to sell this project for parts.

I,d like to try the IEM route and am looking for the famed KZ ZS10.
I found some on Amazon but something feels off as it's not the KZ brand, but some other weird name (like Linsoul, Kinboofi ou YinYoo...). And the description if off, too.
Does anyone has a reliable source to get those ?
Thanks.

Gary Oldman also taught bass to Daniel Radcliffe.

the main issue is that Estonia is a long way and makes it expensive to go there, although the price for the Bass Oasis itself is quite low, with 5 days accommodation and meals... Plus playing on stage with some big names and learning A LOT of stuff 🙂

Hello. Would you be able to share some measurements, please ? What is the nut width ? 38mm ? 42mm ?
Would you be able to also give the neck thickness at 1st and 12th fret, please ?Vielen Dank !

PIcked one up - very late to the party, I know.
It's a real nice piece of kit, the A channel is really blooming the sound up, the passive Bass/Treble controls are quite efficient and not everbearing when everything is on 10.
Spend a good hour trying to dial a nice tone with the B channel and the Hot Cold Fusion, but none were satisfying sadly. Being incredibly Anal with the Dirt sound, it's no surprise. It's a shame though 'cuz I really wanted this one to work and be able to just bring this to gigs and voilà. Definetely worth the price seeing the quality and possibilities, definetely not worth it for me to only use one channel.
