  1. Woodbrass mentions the 410/8 is not available any more. That made me wonder. Good to hear they are still being made. Now if shops would still offer them in. Europe.
  2. Where did you got your 410 from? It looks like they have been discontinued.
  3. Here is my ‘77 PB-400 Pulser Bass.
  4. I never saw one here in Europe. I was glad I found this one in the US. They didn’t make many any way I read, and had regular and “custom” (neck through) models.
  5. The Heartfield basses (Fender/Fujigen 1988 - 1992) had a graphite laminated neck, under the fretboard. It is visible on the headstock.
  6. Here is mine. The DR-6C (custom version, their deluxe model). The actual last one they made in 1992. They were made with and without the Fender logo (that was located between the tuners) at the same time. The Fender logo ones being quite rare according to Steve Bailey (the fretless DR-6 was his main bass until he signed with Aria). They were released in 1988, just before the TRB line cale out (approx 1 year appart), so I wouldn’t call them a ripoff. They are also a bit lighter, have a shallower fretboard, an easier to reach battery compartiment, and have more playable frets near the body. Speaking of the fretboard, it has a a full layer of carbon underneath it, that covers the top of the headstock too. They also have a Low-Z xlr output for direct recording/live purposes without the need for a D.I. Unfortunately my bass has the xlr disconnected because the first owner changed the pre-amp (and updated the tuners to Hipshot Ultralite models). I’m planning on having it re-connected, and have the switch work as a mute switch.
  7. Clover carbon neck-through active 6 string, number 020 (Amsterdam’s area code) Due to the carbon they could develop a very slim neck (without truss rods) and it has a killer roaring B. These babies have a 36” scale and are very light for a 6-string (my baby weights +/- 4,2kg)
  8. The insides. A previous owner cut one of the 9v batteries.
  9. Here is my new to me Beelzebub. Number 020 (Amsterdam’s area code). What a stunning instrument, and a breeze to play due to the slim carbon fiber neck and ultra light weight. It needs some small work, and it looks like the head piece and eq part of the pre-amp was replaced.
