I have both a Polytune (pointless for bass but good for guitar I guess) and Unitune, but the Peterson StroboClip HD is by far my favourite. Not cheap but shop around and it can be found for under £50, not at Andertons, however:

I have a Gator Pro single bass gig bag and am very happy with it. Not just for carrying and protection but also the pockets are really well sorted. There is also a waterproof cover that is hidden away but useful if you get caught in the rain.

Never tried the dual gig bag, however.

Have a look at the GoodNotes app. Not cheap I recall but use it for general scribbling.  Not sure about the timing out thing, however.

I use these for all my needs now. Whilst they do sell on Amazon, their direct pricing is better but there is also a lot more choice.

Best are my MTD Kingston Fretless V and Dingwall ABII 5/3 guitars. Pictures already on the site somewhere.

No worst but most boring a 15ft guitar cable.

I have both the Smoothhound  and Boss WL20L. Never had a problem with either other than the Smooth Hound occasionally did not like some active basses. I use the WL20L pretty much all the time now.

I think you are right. There is something I like about Burton's voice and the bass backing.

Not sure if this should be here, but I heard this this afternoon and loved it:

You need to set your bass and elbow position so that both wrists are reasonably straight. Thumb should match the middle finger as if holding a book from the edge. If you already have those basics down, as Ubit says, it should just be practice. 

Perhaps worth a look at this (apologies if you know all this but worth looking)

What do the two guitarists want to do? If they want to gig sooner, then the drummer should step down. If they are happy to rehearse / jam for some time, perhaps you should step down. Get the band together at the next rehearsal and lead a discussion.

I went to a classic rock gig at The Stables, Milton Keynes on Thursday. A full house sold out concert of older adults. No proper ventilation and extremely warm. I would say less than one in thirty wore face masks and 95% of attendees were dancing by the end. Sweat and God knows what being sprayed around. Not a comfortable feeling although both my wife and I are fine since then. 

Neither, it is a cat's behind / tea towel holder. 😃
