I'm 36 and in my first year of University. The life experience I've had up to now has proven ENORMOUSLY useful and respected by the younger students, who often come to me for help rather than the lecturers.

I say go for it.

I'm not sure if I like doom metal, but only because I can't keep up with the subgenre names.

The other day I discovered that 'blackened crust', 'pornogrind' and 'Progressive alien dathcore' was all metal subgenres.

I'm currently listening to Jazz standards (Now playing Body and Soul by Ella Fitzgerald) in my new Fleetwood Mac PJs and oversized dressing gown.

The rest of the evening will be spent sober, playing board games with the family, eating far too much junk food and then watching Hootenanny and the fireworks outside (we live on a hill so get a good view) before going to bed.
