  1. Sold an Olympic white jazz deluxe to Peter. He was a pleasure to do business with and the whole selling experience was a doddle. Thanks again.

    Cool.

When I saw that Vinorange had commented wondered if we had a Sommelier in the group - the pictures put me right😀.

My name is actually Vin Orange and when I was younger I was slightly shy and some cads decided my nickname should be Vin Rouge. Hilarious....

  3. You could always buy this Precision Elite from Japan as the deal includes a very rare Modulus graphite neck. I know he’ll take a lower offer (£1585 shipped) too as I nearly bought it. Import duty put me off…..

I personally love the random hole in the middle of the headstock, the bridge is also a masterpiece of engineering!

Perhaps a more rudimentary take on the guitar monkey grip?

I also hadn't spotted the genius idea of reversing the pots so your controls are easily accessible from the back. Why didn't I think of that on my recent renovation....

  5. No nibbles at £40 so reduced to £30.

The clear out has started and I found this control plate in my spares bag. I can’t recall what bass it came from but have a feeling I replaced one of my basses with an East pre so this was surplus to requirements. CTS pots, cloth wiring. Perfect working order.

    Will post anywhere.

  6. Up for sale is this Hipshot A style bridge which is string through, top loading, Fender fitment with adjustable string spacing. Great bridges but I prefer Hipshot kickass bridges.

Having weighed it in it looks like it’s an aluminium version as it’s 135g without screws.

    Will post anywhere.

    Thanks for looking.

  7. Reduced to £250. I didn’t know how to price this as it’s rare but has been refinished.

The nitro black is polished perfectly flat with no orange peel effect in sight. Will give it a polish and add some more pics as it’s been living on top of my bookcase.

I wanted a USA Jaguar bass but preferred a graphite neck so I got this body in shambolic condition and refinished it nitrocellulose black.
I added a graphite neck, loaded it with Troy Sanders pickups and controls and then, inevitably, got bored and stripped it down and sold all the parts! Last to go is the body as I still thought I’d do a build with P/J format but I’m being told to sell some stuff (you know the score).

The USA jags are incredibly rare so unsure on pricing. The last complete Jag on here was £2,200. If I’m being way off then open to offers.

Finished with 10 coats of nitro, it should last well. Also it hasn’t got an Anarchy emblem but does reflect our bedroom light fitting which seems to have one….

  8. Bought Will’s GED2112 and couldn’t be happier (the one that was on TV at Glastonbury).

Excellently packaged to protect Geddy (‘s nose) on the journey and in perfect condition with the original box and manuals. Happy Christmas to me!

    Thanks Will

  9. Another member of the family. A rather fetching and slightly rare Ferrari red 1991 4003 in near mint condition. Goes well with my 1980 4001.

Maybe a white one would look nice in the middle....

Note to self. Tidy the office room.

  10. Up for sale are 4, what I assume to be rotosound, flat wound strings taken from a 62 reissue fender jazz. Great strings, cut to 34" 4 in a line length with plenty of silks still on.

    Gauge 100-40.

    £15 includes UK postage.

In reality, I just hope that someone wants these otherwise they’re off to the bin……
