1.
An amazing cab at an incredible bargain price!
Thanks
Where abouts are you based? And are you interested in trades?
I'm based in South east London. Sorry, not looking for a trade though.
2. TC RH410 for sale with flight-case: I've owned this Cab from new and it's always been flight-cased, so it's in really good condition. There are a couple of marks on it (shown in photos) from mic clamps. I'm gutted to have to sell this to be honest; it sounds amazing, is really reliable - the TC gear speaks for itself really!! Check out the TC website for specs. The flight-case is great too; I have toured with this so the case does show signs of wear. It is made specifically for this cab so fits perfectly. (the case does need a new brake wheel, these are pretty cheap to be fair) **If you'd prefer to buy the cab without the flight-case it'd cost less** Any questions please feel free to ask! All the best.
3. I think i have been unlucky! haha. And yeh it was new when i got it. But i have managed to increase the output on it by ensuring the bridge has a totally solid connection with the body. I am kind of paranoid that it's gonna do it again tho so i'm gonna have get another pickcup i think. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced one? thanks for the help by the way!!
4. Hey guys, I'm having some major issues with my realist pickup (the standard one). The output on it is so low, and often distorted. I've tried changing cables, changing amps and ensuring that there is a good connection with the bridge/body but still i have issues! I've had the pickup for one year, and at the start it was great! High output, good sound etc. Then after about 6months it started not working. I contacted realist and they basically said; ''sorry but there really isn't anything to go wrong with the pickup, try contact cleaner down the output jack'' So i did this but still it didn't work. Anyway, i then didn't play much double bass due to my electric bass gigs. But i'm looking to potentially do a long string of dates on upright in the next coming months and through the summer and i need a working pickup!! Any advice?! p.s. i've contacted realist again to see if they can help me.
5. Thanks everyone! leadoubllebass - i know a fair few people like me who play electric and double bass and work as a professional musician! I never trust wikipedia....i remember i once edited a page to be incorrect so i could win an argument lol.
6. Hey! I've just posted a new video on my youtube channel of me playing along to a Havona backing track. It's not the best quality so i'd recommend listening to it through decent speakers or headphones to hear the bass! I'd really appreciate you feed back on my playing All the best Matt oh yeh....here is the link! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HNtsZZ634A
7. Hey everyone! I'm new to this site so i'm making my introductions! I'm Matt, I've recently moved to London. I'm a professional musician. when i'm free you can find me at the various jam nights like hoxton, sewage, jam tart, charlie wrights, and ronnies! I've been playing for around 10 years now. I play a fender precision american std 4 string and a 3/4 German double bass. I've recently started using my Youtube channel (i didn't realise i had one till the other day!) tho there are only 2 video's on there now i'm gonna upload more when i can. So i'd appreciate your feed back! cheeeers! Matt youtube.com/matthewastonmusic twitter.com/_mattbass soundcloud.com/matthewastonmusic
8. Hey man. sorry for the delayed reply! I've never tried the fna unfortunately so i couldn't tell you! Maybe someone else on here may know?! If you are still interested then i would be willing to meet you for a sale. I'm gonna edit my first post now so it doesn't say collection only
9. I'm willing to take offers for this bass if you have a price in mind!!
10. Hey All! I've owned this bass from new and it's a fantastic bass. Unfortunately i am selling due to financial reasons. Bought in 2004 from Thomann this was my main bass for a couple of years. It's in good condition though it does have natural signs of wear; there is one screw missing from the cover on the headstock however this is easy to replace! It sounds amazing, and has such a versatile range. It has a low action, good neck and is totally solid! This bass looks amazing, sounds fantastic, is solid and won't let you down. And as i'm sure everyone will agree the German made Warwicks really are worth the money. I don't know what else to say about this bass; it really is a superb bass. If you have any more questions please call me as i don't know how often i will be able to get onto this site It's the active model, and i will include a soft case and strap in the sale. I can meet you for a sale or you can come to me. What ever is easier! Of course i am willing to hear offers for the bass. The price listed is just a guide. Thanks for looking! Matthew 07906573024
