1. hi guys want to ask for your views..I have the possibility of buying a: Mag 300 1x15 combo ...or ABM C110 Neo combo (it's a neodymium 1x10 with a tweeter) both are at good prices but obviously the Mag is much cheaper... my question is - is the 1x10 giggable at all or is it really just studio amp? I'm thinking small to medium sized rooms cheers bb
 2. everything worked out smoothly and I might add was handled with tremendous courtesy - Mick, you are a real gentleman to do business with The bass was just as Mick had described it and given its age is in very, very good condition ...plus it was really thoughtfully and thoroughly packed to ensure its safety during transit would happily trade again and can only recommend - top marks bb

6. I've had a look at this bass in a shop and while there is much to like, especially the nice light weight and general look and feel, not to mention a decent range (nothing mind blowing) of tone... but my eye too was drawn to the nut which does look like the achiles heel of the instrument basically the nut is fitted before the neck is finished with varnish so the nut is effectively varnished in - now if the nut is perfect that's not such a big deal even if in principle its just not right but should you want to adjust or change out the nut... well I can see the entire area here being vulnerable to unsightly chipping and flaking of varnish as the the nut will invariably take some of the surrounding varnish with it messy I think Fender should address this as it really is a basic error of construction and semething you wouldn't expect to see even on a really cheap bass, let alone a mid priced machine - only a person who has never played a bass would build it like this - Fender should really know better I would return that bass - for £150 you "might" put up with it - for £350 ... no freakin' way
