      I often wish it was a cartoon world and things like safes or pianos could fall on some folks heads but not kill them of course. Just cause a fantastic array of stars and an 18 inch bump on their heads for a while!

    Does anyone have any experience receiving international bank transfers? A payment was sent to me from Portugal on Friday but hasn't landed in my account yet. Any idea how long it should take?

      About 5 days from Belgium and the bank took a fee. Think the payment was for £1000 and they took £60. Robbin gits...

    What the hell is happening with the weather? Only a week ago my nads almost shrivelled away to nothing in the cold, now it's so hot they're hanging very low and they stink. I thought we were supposed to enjoy a temperate climate in this country? I blame the Russians.

    Another kebab fail. The situation is now at crisis point and threatening the very existence of the band.

    Despite not having our inoculations and and having no pet passport for our guitarist we ventured to the

    disputed border town of Earby in either Lancashire or Yorkshire, no one seems to know.

    We got a fifty quid bonus and free beer and had a good night but it was sullied by the towns total lack of kebabery. 

    Another dash to a 24 hour Maccies saved us from a fate worse than a fate worse than death but this is now two

    fails on the bounce and begs the question "what's the point of being in a band ? "

      That's just what happened to me and that's how I came to sell my 73 Jazz for £70! Funnily enough, the culprit said to me recently that the buyer still had it and it was worth a lot of money now! That didn't help...

      A mate of mine once came round and made my then Eden Metro combo sound diabolical. I even tried to replicate it myself but to no avail. The daughter of one of his band members summed him up nicely, she said "He playeth with wooden hand" 😂

      One of the best comments I have ever read on here was when a member asked something like, "how to play get that jazz 'feel'". Someone replied and said, "throw your bass down the stairs" 😂 Still tickles me when I think about it.

      Everyone gets a bit fed up with their playing now and again but it thankfully doesn't last too long.
