1. Hi guys, this is a massive feeler, I love this cab but I might have the possibility to pick up a dream rig either tomorrow or Monday, and if I do unfortunately this is going to have to go (can't afford to keep both). In that sense, I won't actually know if this is for sale until either tomorrow or Monday, but I thought I'd list it now as if I do buy the other rig I'll need the money fairly quickly, and I have a feeling this will be quite popular (mods if this isn't allowed please do let me know). I'd love to pick one up again in the future, never had such clarity, depth and volume from a cab, especially one this size and weight!

I'd say it's in mint condition, but let's say it's 9.5/10 to be safe (honestly cant see any marks at all but I have moved it a few times so there might be something tiny I'm missing). Comes with the Gen 3 Roqsolid cover (worth £90 on it's own) to keep it safe in the future too. As you can see it's the cloth grill version, which in my opinion looks incredible, and makes it a little lighter too.

Here is the worlds worst picture of what is quite possibly the worlds best cab. I'll upload more on Monday once I know if it's 100% for sale.

I'm looking for £650, collection only from SW London (or possibly Bristol, or somewhere inbetween). I can deliver within a reasonable distance of London for the cost of petrol too. With the extras including shipping this would run you £1000, and there's one used on here for much more, but if I do get this other rig then I'll need the money pretty urgently, so my loss is your gain!

  2. The gear purge continues. First up is a Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe DI, this is effectively the VT bass pedal with 6 programmable presets, along with a DI and a output boost so it can be used as a preamp. I'd say a strong 8.5/10 condition, no velcro on base, and comes boxed with original manual etc. Looking for £185 posted.

Next is is a Fuzzrocious Rat Tail with 2nd Distortion mod, which effectively gives you a second gain control and footswitch to control it. One of the best (if not the best) rat type distortions out there, and sounds great on both guitar and bass. Not 100% sure I want to sell this, but I'm not using distortion in my sound at the moment and the money could probably be better spent elsewhere. Screenprinted version, I'd say another 8.5/10 condition (just a few surface marks from gigging, nothing that effects functionality). No velcro on this one, and no original box, but will come in an Aria box which fits OK for shipping. Looking for £110 posted.

Finally we've got a DigiTech Jamman Express XT looper, most people will know what this is, just a simple loop pedal, 1 knob, 1 button, but with the option to link more together for greater possibilities. This is in 9.5/10 condition I'd say, with velcro on the base and comes boxed with original manual etc. Looking for £50 posted.

  3. Hi guys,

I've just recieved an Ampeg PF-350 and the matching 1x15 fliptop cab. I've just hooked it all up, and whilst it sounds great, there's a really annoying rattling coming from the amp when the volume's turned up a bit. I've narrowed it down to the lid of the cab that's making the noise, but I can't work out which bit. This is happening both with the amp screwed onto the lid and without. I think it could be something to do with the amount the lid vibrates when played loud, maybe it's vibrating something inside the amp even, maybe the fan or something?

Anyone have any experience with this issue? Any ideas on what to do?

  4. Hi Guys, just a quick question. I've recently got a couple of pedals, and I'm setting them up at the moment. The 2 I'm wondering about are a T-Rex Tonebug Fuzz and a Bad Monkey. The Convention seems to be to have Guitar -> Fuzz -> OD -> amp from what I can find. However, when I do this the OD makes the amp less distorted, which seems a little counter intuitive. Have I got them the 'wrong' way round? When I put them the other way the OD doesn't cut the distortion, but doesn't really seem to add much either. I was just wondering because I've read that you want OD after the Fuzz in the chain to boost it, but in my case the opposite seems to be happening.
