The more I hear about them the more I really want one! This is becoming serious!

I really can't wait to get my hands on one and play away. I really just want to see how the pick up set up works 'cause I've heard some great things and also a few bad things so I think I just need to find one and spend some time "Testing" if you all know what I mean

I'm looking into the Fender Aerodyne and they look like they'd be lovely to play, I have only ever heard one and it sounded really nice in my opinion. Just wondered if anyone on here has one or played on in the past I currently play a Fender 51' reissue p-bass but I personally have played many other basses that I preferred.

I do check out PMT every now and then as its really close to my college but I know they dont like people just seeing what basses are like and then not buying them which is fair enough but it'd be handy to be able to try some nice basses out. I dont really like the feel of my '51 P bass to be totally honest, it's a lovely bass however since buying I've played basses that i've preferred as the '51 sounds a tad weak to me? maybe it just needs fiddling around with and being properly set up etc but thats something I can't warrant spending money on if I dont like the feel of the bass.

I was thinking about trying some J basses as a friend of mine has one and i do love the sound that you can get from it, but I'm not too sure myself. I shall have a look into trying some out if i can get my hands on them

I have a Fender re-issue '51 P bass in school bus yellow (the colour has many different names that's just my favorite) and was starting to think of selling it to get my self a different bass, probably still a Fender and probably still a 4 string. Any suggestions?

I recently bought an item I have wanted for a very long time for BigSmokeBass and I couldn't feel much better about the whole transaction. Absolutely lovely guy, even before I wanted to buy something from him, he was more then happy to just to chat with me which i found lovely. On the day of the transaction, He had prepared me and my friend tea biscuits, which were also lovely! If you do get the chance to buy, sell or trade through BSB i strongly advise you to as you shall not be disappointed with how he treats you (also, even now, after the transaction, he's still helping me out with it so yeah! He's great ;D)

Im learning a lot of stuff in Drop C lately and i want a bass thats going to be able to give that real low end thump. Any sugestions PLEASE:D

I think I might go for an Ashdown. I've played through my friends a fair few times and it sounds good but would they be good in long terms?

It really is'nt good, i cant even tell what it is XD and i have a peavey guitar amp, i just dont get along with it for guitar :/

So, I have a really low end bass amp, its loud enough for now but i'll a bigger one as my band progress etc. Any suggestions? looking at spending about 300 or less, i know its really not much to play with :/
