Sweet Jesus...I just spat my Chilli out...

My main Bass is now a Squier VM Jazz...totally stock. Fantastic Instrument once set up properly....and the Squier Logo stays, no gear snobbery here

The bridge isn't as 'substantial' as a MM Sub...but it does the job. These basses are easy on the back too. I gig mine no problem

I've changed the switch and put Black screws in since this was taken. I was going to change the Pick ups but the stock ones are beasts. Love the stripes on yours.

Met Chris at his shop today (see you again mate ) to trade Basses. absolute pleasure to deal with.

After reading through this thread it seems people are bending over backwards to help you....you seem to have an answer to everything.
Take it to a luthier, get them to sort it...buy an amp..a PC will not give you any real sort of sound....then in your own words

Interesting choice of Pick up!

Are you sure you want to do this?.......I was 15 years between bands and had buy all over again. 6 months is really no time at all mate.

It was also like it when I 'rescued' it. It also had an awful black pick up cover on it which I dumped straight away. It's a great little Bass though, just needs some TLC..I'd highly recommend it for a starter fretless. Good luck with the sale mate.

My Biggest regret is selling one of these but in Red.... still have old cassette recordings of it and it sounded great
