1. I had EHX green russian reissue. I was ecstatic about its sound. Heavy, full, just pure awesomeness. But when I tried it in a mix there was no way I could make it stand out. I thought the sovtek deluxe could do the job. Excellent sound sculpture options, and while sat comfortably in the mix the sound isn't the same as the green Russian reissue. There was no "balls" to the sound. Big let down and big pedalboard real estate. A friend of mine had a Way huge russian pickle that didn't like for guitar. I borrowed it and instantly became what I was looking for. The sound was even better that the green reissue and sat very good in a mix with the tone knob alone. Somewhere red afterwards that is slightly less mid scooped than other russian clones, but I cannot possibly verify that. The Cog i have heard it only through youtube and i must say, it is possibly the best of all but a used Russian pickle might be your best bet right now. All of this tried with a precision into Boss BC1x, into Fuzz, into Bass driver DI. Good luck!

 5. I have the amp of the title and i am looking for a replacement footswitch for the chorus function. Does anyone know what footswitch is compatible with this amp, besides the original? Thank you in advance!
 6. Hello everyone, i am looking into replacing my stolen Sansamp Paradriver Di with one of the following: Eden WTDI, AMT BC-1, BBE B-max. i could not find though anywhere if there is cabinet simulation availiable in any of these units as the sansamp had. As you understand i want to record directly to a PC or a ZOOM R16 without further proccessing or vst. Any suggestion or recommendation?
 7.
Get rid of the jazz-cover, and place a real, wide, P-pickup cover... anyway, here's mine:
why? what's the difference? just for the look? (i don't know, i am just asking) anyway i placed the jazz cover on a precision because my fingers don't fit on the space between the two covers for just a few millimeters. i constantly hit them accidentaly so i placed the slightly narrower jazz cover.....
 8.
Split the Ibanez into parts and sell them on eBay (keeping what you need, eg pickup, bridge etc). Use the funds to buy a used P or J style body to go with your neck.
i thought it too. but after your suggestion i took the decision. body sold. i bought a used fully loaded squier vintage modified 77 jazz bass body for 75$. i hope the neck wil fit.... thank you guys for the response you saved me from a lot of (nice though...) trouble!
 9.
Two real sticking points as far as I can see. 1) Ibanez necks are a lot slimmer than Fender style necks, so the neck pocket on the guitar body will need to be enlarged to accomodate the new neck. 2) You might need to adjust the positioning of the neck within the pocket to allow the '12th fret' to become equidistant to the nut and the bridge saddles.
is it possible to just use individual bridge saddles (not one-piece bridge) instead of relocating the neck to achive the same result?
 10. hello everyone, i have an ibanez gsr190 with wrecked truss rod and a spare fender specs fretless neck. i would like to ask if it is possible to install the neck on the ibanez body and what are the possible issues that might occur and if are solve-able. thank you in advance!

 12.
Here's mine. Only bass I own. Edit: American special in CAR.
that's how mine supposed to look but changes happened on he way..... very, very attracting bass indeed!
 13.
Hate to be a party pooper; but I was not impressed with their compressor. It was pretty lame and it sucked tone. Also the footswitch broke within 2 hrs. To be fair you couldn't expect much more for that price; but it was £28 I woulda rather put towards something useable. As a budget starter compressor it would've been ok
i disagree with that. their compressor is working perfectly with 4 string basses and it's a mxr dynacomp style pedal plus an attack knob that can make the pedal very flexible. plus the pedal does not color your sound. i use it and have trusted it for live situation multiple times and it is very sturdy.
 14. Thank you Jono Bolton. It's like an ugly girl with nice tits, an ungly girl with nice ass and a very fat girl with beautiful face. if you combine the best parts it might end nice...... sorry for the explicit language, didn't know more polite words! and sorry for the girls (it was just an example. if anyone is offended replace girl with guy)
