I'd be well pleased with that.
Abomination to God would be my first album title.
Sound like a John Peel session. Gospel of Salvation with their new song Abomination to God!

The Bristol shop used to be pretty decent but last time I went in to try basses, I waited ages for one to be taken off the wall then got given a tiny practice amp a few feet from a guitarist trying out a big valve amp so couldn't hear what the bass sounded like. I asked to try it where I can hear it and was told to come back another time. I bought one elsewhere.
It's even worse since they moved to a shop where there's no parking.
Completely agree. I used to go in a lot when I was in the city centre. Now they are opposite Temple Meads I never go. Haven't been in since buying my daughter a guitar there Bout 18 months ago.

So our first rehearsal for a while last night at our usual spot. We use a village church and have done for years at reasonable rates with our fees being welcomed to the up keep of the building. After we finished our drummer had this on his car which I am temped to add to our posters and possibly a t-shirt. I also think "The Gospel of Salvation" could be a great future band name!

Figure it out - Royal Blood
We're doing it with guitars, so a slightly different arrangement, but I've still got to learn it all.
Great fun song. Here's our version with guitars if iflt helps

We are currently leaning a few new ones including Get the Fink out by Extreme. Really fun line to lean. A bit challenging in places but the hardest bit is getting us all to play the run downs in sync.

Been toying with getting a B6 for a bit and noticed that Andertons and Amazon are selling for £299 which is what I've seen as a good used price so have pulled the trigger. I've got a B3 which I use a lot but like the idea of more flexible pedal chains and the 4 di models looking forward to getting it in the next few days and wondering if it will push me to go fully ampless.

Really looking for a straight sale but try me for sensible offers or full/part trades especially for:
Barefaced Super Compact
Barefaced One10
Nice Solid Colour P
G&l L2000
OBT Mk2
Squier Bass 6 or similar
Small lightweight combos eg Markbass or maybe a Rumble
I'm also getting an itch for a 5 string but it will need to be one I can sell on easily!
Any trade will need a face to face meet.

Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro bass for sale. Excellent playing and sounding bass in great condition with the exception of a couple of small barely visable marks on the headstock. I bought this on a whim from ebay and just haven't played it and need to thin the heard a bit. Comes with a Thomann gig bag and a set of Flatwound Rotosound stings it had on when I got it.
Bass can be tried at Downend in Bristol.
I'd much rather this was collected but postage can be arranged at buyers cost and risk.
Any Qs please let me know.

Amp sold. Cab still for sale

Very nice Fender MIM Precision bass in Tobacco burst for sale. Fender serial no. Checker dates this to 2017.
I bought this on a whim from fee bay but need thin the heard a little.
This plays and sounds great has fresh strings and nice low action.
This bass looks and feels like it's hardly been played and is in excellent condition however there are a couple of things to note. A previous owner has added a decal on the head to make it look like a USA bass, this is pretty well done and is only noticable if you look closely. There are also 2 small holes by the bridge where I'd guess someone had fitted an ashtray cover which I Don't have.
Any tests welcome at Downend in Bristol. I much prefer collection in person but can post at buyers cost and risk and will also include a hard case(either stagg or tatty hiscox) for an extra £25.
Any questions please let me know.

Really not sure I want to do this and may regret it but as I now nearly always go through the PA this isn't getting used as much as it should.
Bugera Veyron T head. Gigged but in excellent condition. Stupidly loud and with great tone, great di sound and with the advantage of aux in and phones sockets on the back for home practice. I've owned from new since December 2019 and I still have box and instructions. £200
Barefaced Super Compact, purchased from this very parish. All works as it should, very light and loud. Couple of slight scuffs/chips on the front edge but only cosmetic. £425
I would much rather collection and you are more than welcome to give it a try. I'm in Downend, Bristol. I may consider postage at buyers cost and risk but I'll have to find a suitable box first.
£600 if you buy both together all cable included.
Possibly open to trades but I would much rather sell.

Sorry late to the party. Only just picked up on this and hoping to be free next Sunday, is it too late to sign up. I can bring a few basses and a couple of amps along and I'll see what I can rustle up for the raffle. Cheers steve

Great fun gig at the Frocester beer festival in Gloucestershire last night. Crowd were well lubricated but the time we played at 7.30 and had a glorious sunset too. Well organised stage and good sound team and a very lively audience. Not the most complicated bass song below but who needs more than 4 notes anyway and its always a favourite!
