  1. Yes. It is, after all, a Darkglass plectrum. I have the V2 of it in the house, with which you can split between plectrum and no plectrum, or as it is sometimes referred to in hallowed bass circles, fingers. 😁 Amp still available, cracking tones, great condition. Will consider sensible offers.
  2. Selling my Microtubes 900 V1 amp head as now have a different smaller set up and this never gets used. Needs a new loving home. In great condition. Gigged twice, used for rehearsals. Comes packed in the original box with single footswitch and power cable. I’m also including the larger Superintelligent footswitch which was bought separately, with its original box and a Darkglass plectrum. This allows switching between the two choices of distortion or clean, rather than just switching one on and off with the original footswitch. Range of sonic options on this beast is impressive, and blending with clean and distorted options allows for some sublime tones. The inbuilt distortion options are based on the Darkglass Vintage Microtubes and the B3K pedals. Even clean it’s really easy to dial in a great baseline tone. The headroom on these things is huge. £650 including shipping within mainland U.K. or collection from Glasgow. Any queries please reach out.
  3. Still available! Wednesday morning social distancing ba-bump.
  4. Hail fellow Graphite heads! This is my main workhorse. Interestingly, this is called a “Stealth 2” (not a Stealth, and not an S2) and was made in 2000. One piece graphite moulding. Originally had front and side leds but asked Rob at Status to swap them out last year for the newer wraparound leds. It’s also had custom Roman numeral inlays fitted. I switch all the hardware between a black set and this gold set when I get the whim.
  5. Had one of these in red for many years. Absolutely loved everything about it barr the weight. The wild dog setting was a firm favourite. All the best with the sale.
  6. I’ve been registered on this site for 8 years, occasionally lurking furtively around the basses for sale section like a 12 Step Gollum, and have realised that I’ve never introduced myself! I’ve been playing and recording fairly consistently in a variety of weird and wonderful bands for 30 years. Had a variety of basses over the years, including Warwick, Status, Gibson, Gretsch, Dean and Schecter. My main gigging bass is currently a Status Stealth 4 string headed through a Darkglass Microtubes 900 head. Looking forward to chatting and learning with others on the site!
  7. Cheers gents, it is a handsome beast for sure. PM’s replied to.
  8. Selling with heavy heart, but it’s not getting any use. I’ve accepted that I’m more of a short scale player. Stunning black long scale Gretsch bass. The black version has been discontinued and is almost impossible to find. Sounds beautiful with the Filter’tron pickups and switching options. In built knurled strap locks. It’s been well looked after - has very minor rash on back that I’ve tried to get in a photo but it’s hardly noticeable. Also one tiny scuff on front which is again hardly noticeable but I’ve tried to get it in a photo. Here’s the official blurb: Gretsch G5440LSB Electromatic Hollow Body Long Scale Bass Guitar in Black. The G5440LS is the stylishly seismic new long scale bass guitar from Gretsch. The G5440LS is armed with two powerful new Black Top Filter’Tron bass pickups that endow it with an electrifying deep-end voice and identity.
